I think it is very unlikely a high profile wife would go out of her way to publicly sue a Beatle, especially knowing the backlash, unless she really felt like she was done wrong. It is just plain common sense. You would have to be clinically, mentally ill to do for no justifiable reason. That is the first thing I thought of when those divorce proceedings got underway. She was going to get a ton of money either way, she wouldn't have put herself thru that public lashing unless she really felt like she was mistreated.
