Sheen's Preggers Wife OK After Emergency Surgery

Charlie Sheen's wife, Brooke Mueller, required emergency gall-bladder surgery last week, an operation that can be risky during the early stages of pregnancy.
The couple's publicist confirmed that she was treated at Cedars Sinai in LA and discharged late last week and stressed that it had nothing to do with her pregnancy.
The momma-to-be reportedly spent five days at the hospital and has been recuperating at home for the past four days.
But, she was well enough to attend Sunday's Emmy Awards ceremony.
According to a medical expert, an infected gall bladder can be life threatening not just for the baby but also to the mother.
We're glad the docs sorted Brooke all out!

I almost had my gallbladder out while I was pregnant. Ended up with a blocked bile duct at 23 weeks, and in the hospital for 5 days (without surgery). She will be glad its out now, rather than living through gallbladder attacks at 35 weeks. They opted to wait it out for me, and I had my daughter a week early induced because the attacks were so frequent and painful. Pregnancy and gallbladder do not go well together at all.
I just saw the new season premiere of two and a half men….there's something not quite right with charlie's hair–i think he has a piece…or implants!
Is the Red Carpet really more important than post surgery recovery?? She should've stayed home and rested, not to mention all the germs she exposed herself to while her immune system is getting back to normal after stressful surgery.
My sister had the same thing. They do not do this unless it is necessary!

I'd be under ALOT of stress if I had to deal w/ Denise in ANY fashion ;p I do feel so awful for his 2 lil girls w/ her though, she's prolly filled their heads w/ horror stories of their daddy and true or not, that in itself is crazy!!!!I do wish them all the best if Denise isn't happy her lil girl's won't be either!!!!

sucks for brook she has to have surgery without pain meds. even with meds, it still hurts like hell, so i can't even imagine… and she's nuts to be on the red carpet so soon. i guess she doesn't care so much about herself, or her babies. charlie should have made her stay at home in bed!
Wow - scary. Hope she'll recover and do well for the rest of the pregnancy. It's kinda unusual for a woman to have gall bladder issues while pregnant - most women have issues AFTER giving birth. I bet Denise was at home sticking pins into a voodoo doll of Brooke.
with her gallbladder removed she will have a hard time losing weight,and will also put weight on mofre easily,especially being pregnant.
the gallbladder aids in digesting fatty foods,and without one she will soon blimp up,lets see if pervo,oopsi mean charlie sticks by her at 180 pounds?

I had gall bladder problems when I was pregnant. They told me It was gas. I was in agony and they kept telling me it was gas. After I gave birth I had to have it out. It sux. It really hurts when your gall bladder goes bad!
