This may come as shocking news to you, but majoring in something doesn't make you an expert on the subject. I doubt that the psychology world is even in agreement on whether or not women who date older men have psychological problems. It's endlessly amusing that some college girl who can hardly handle the English language thinks she has even a small idea of what she's talking about when it comes to something as complex as the human psyche.
Speaking from a purely biological point of view, entering into a relationship with an older person is preferred over entering into a relationship with a younger person. If a person is still around at an advanced age, evolution would have it that they have good genes, thus making them a prime candidate with whom to reproduce with. Speaking from a purely sociological point of view, an older person is more mature (especially in the case of men) and is much more prepared and willing to start a family then a younger person. Young women who want to start families in their twenties are increasingly finding that difficult to do if they limit themselves to men their own age. Young guys just aren't as willing as older guys to settle down, for obvious reasons.
