    Yea its hard. I moved to vegas two years ago. I go down to the strip every so often and the crowds get smaller and smaller.

    Well, I would think so! If it is as bad as they say, people losing their homes, cars, not being able to afford college, then they should stay the hell out of Vegas and not give their money away! Just a thought . . . .

    They still need to offer better deals, I got a decent 3 night stay at Venetian this weekend, but still…

    It took me several weeks to find a job and people were still telling how lucky i am to find work.. and it's no where to brag about.

    Mario Pendeja ACTUALLY thinks the movie W. is going to be bad! He couldn't be more wrong, it looks like it's gonna rank up there with There Will Be Blood and The Darjeeling Limited. Let's boycott this loser.

    I guess I'm not being affected by this. I have a job and I'm not having a problem paying my bills or putting food on the table. When I was applying for a job I got a lot of offers right away as a massage therapist. I guess that's just me.

    Last I looked reports were showing that the economy is just not moving up as quickly as it was. It's still moving upwards, just not as fast. Is that a bad thing? I think it's teaching people how to handle their money better.

    People who have less money…give away less to shit hole dens of iniquity like Las Vegas, anyway.
    Grannies and moolies can't afford to fly to vegas to play the fucking nickle slots. Big whoop.
    Torch the damn place, bulldoze it, then return it to it's native state and make it a wildlife refuge or state park.

    Years ago my friend went on a diatribe of how awful Bush would be for our country.
    My friend is the overly dramatic sort an I dismissed my friends comments.
    Forward 8 years later and our situation is even worse than we could have imagined.
    I've been unemployed twice during the Bush regime. When Clinton was in office, I kept the same job for nearly a decade and I earned more money back then than I do now.

    Re: thetwistedlover – The only thing keeping NYC's economy alive right now is tourism… it's the number one tourist spot in the world. Other than that, we're broke.
