Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...
Maleficent!
At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!
Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!
She explains:
"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."
And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!
So, so cool!

Yea its hard. I moved to vegas two years ago. I go down to the strip every so often and the crowds get smaller and smaller.
Well, I would think so! If it is as bad as they say, people losing their homes, cars, not being able to afford college, then they should stay the hell out of Vegas and not give their money away! Just a thought . . . .
They still need to offer better deals, I got a decent 3 night stay at Venetian this weekend, but still…
then screw Vegas, come to NYC!
It took me several weeks to find a job and people were still telling how lucky i am to find work.. and it's no where to brag about.

I guess I'm not being affected by this. I have a job and I'm not having a problem paying my bills or putting food on the table. When I was applying for a job I got a lot of offers right away as a massage therapist. I guess that's just me.
Last I looked reports were showing that the economy is just not moving up as quickly as it was. It's still moving upwards, just not as fast. Is that a bad thing? I think it's teaching people how to handle their money better.

Re: thetwistedlover – The only thing keeping NYC's economy alive right now is tourism… it's the number one tourist spot in the world. Other than that, we're broke.
The slots are so tight lately it's sad.
