Finally, Good News For Ed McMahon

Ed McMahon's always claimed that a neck injury is partly to blame for the financial woes that have hit him because he's been unable to work to pay his bills.
Well, the old dog has finally been given some good news.
A judge has cleared the way for the former Tonight Show co-host to go after some allegedly negligent docs who misdiagnosed his neck injuriy.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled that McMahon has legal grounds to go after Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and two doctors for negligence, elder abuse, battery, fraud and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Ed filed suit in July and is seeking an unspecified amount for injuries he sustained after a fall last March at a Los Angeles socialite's home.
We bet it's a lot of money!!
The lawsuit says doctors at Cedars failed to perform an X-ray and determine that he had a broken neck when he was brought into the emergency room.
Ed also claims that a doctor at the hospital's spinal-care center improperly performed two surgeries.
It's a good lesson for us all.
Doctors aren't always right.

Maybe some of these movie stars should donate some money to help Galveston due to the storm. Pretty sad that no one has even mentioned helping Galveston. Galveston was hit just as hard as New Orleans was in Katrina. No one is even helping the people here. I think that it is horrible. I havent even seen anything anywhere that Angela, or any of the others have done a thing. I guess people only pick and choose who deseres help. Pretty sad.. We dont even get the media coverage anymore. Everyone has just forgotten, or never even cared. Very sad. I mean its great that Mia Farrow and Brad Pitt are helping Haiti, but we have places here in the United States that need help too. I guess people only want to help places where they can get attention. they should open their eyes and realisie that a lot of people here in Galveston lost everything and still dont have sewage, power, or water. they do not even have homes anymorw. Wake up people.

Your assuming that his lawsuit has validity. Just because people sue doesn't mean they deserve money, this seems like a desperate attempt to grab some money. Maybe he should sell some of the crap his wife bought.
Re: ERRRBOOO – I agree with ERRRBOOO. People sue doctors all the time just to get some money…why do you think doctors' malpractice insurance costs so much today? If the doctors are indeed guilty, they should pay up and have their licenses suspended or taken away completely. Regarding the elder abuse allegation…I find this hard to believe. You're treating Ed McMahon, a pretty well known guy. One interview on Larry King mentioning the dr's names and elder abuse allegations and you know your medical career could be over in a second.
So, what you are saying is that he was faking his injury and nursing it
because this legal case was pending.
