Fran Drescher is busy doing lots of good these days!
She stood up to cancer, was appointed a goodwill diplomat for the U.S. government AND we also learned that she raised lots of money to protect gay marriage in California earlier this month.
Fran and her ex-husband, Peter Marc Jacobson, co-hosted a fundraiser/cocktail party that brought in $40,000 for Love, Honor, Cherish and Equality California, two groups fighting Proposition 8.

Re: "Not a fan of gay marriage": You dont have to be a "fan" of gay marriage, just don't vote yes on something that will actually TAKE someone's rights away that the majority of voters in California already voted to support.
