According to a Department of Justice spokesperson, there's been "investigatory activity" in Knoxville regarding the incident of Republican VP Nominee Sarah Palin's email being hacked into.
Agents busted in and broke up a party early Sunday morning at the Fort Sanders apartment David Kernell, a student at University of Tennessee.
Sources say that several agents arrived at The Commons of Knoxville apartment complex sometime around midnight. That's when they took down the names of every person at the party and spent about two hours taking pictures of everything inside.
Talk about a way to ruin a good night!
Even more suspicious is the fact that witnesses say Kernell and his friends fled the apartment, while his three roommates were subpoenaed.
And, in an even bigger twist, Kernell is the son of the Democratic state rep from Memphis, Mike Kernell.
That revelation has right wing-ers believing that the Democratic Party was behind it all.
So how did the suspected "hacker" get caught?
Turns out someone on an online forum, under the name "Rubico", admitted to hacking into Palin's account.
Bragging about illegal activities is never smart.
His username was traced to his email which has, for the moment, linked him to the college student in Tennessee.
And, even if it's true, and he did "hack" into Palin's account by entering public information into her security questions, who should really be at fault?
The "hacker"? Yahoo security for making their questions too general? Or Palin for being stupid enough to enter easily found answers to her security questions?
What do U think?
