Unfit Mother? Sharon Stone Loses Custody Of Son!

Uh oh!
Sharon Stone's wacky behavior of late has cost her big time.
Stone has lost physical custody of her 8-year-old son Roan.
A judged has ruled that her ex-husband, Phil Bronstein, "shall have permanent sole physical custody of child."
The judge also said the order is permanent unless there is a change of circumstances (we assume that means only the death of Bronstein could change things).
When the couple divorced in '04, they agreed to joint legal and physical custody of their son.
Wonder what craziness led to Bronstein to push for sole custody????!!!!
As we all know, it takes A LOT for a court to strip a mother of custody!

After hearing this, and hearing some of the crazy things Meg Ryan says about her daughter I'm pretty much of the opinion that no aging hollywood actress should be allowed to adopt until they go through an intensive psych screening.

Actually, P, it doesn't take a LOT to strip a mom from her kid. You get the wrong judge, or a bad lawyer…it can happen. Thank God I fought it, and won.

I am not surprised. I remember reading how she left her kid in the car with a nanny while she went to a trendy restaurant for a couple of hours. Too bad the other two kids she adopted can't escape. Nicole Kidman strikes me as the same type as SS.

A "change in circumstances" doesn't just mean death. Of course it would have to be a very, very significant change which can include drugs, alcohol, abuse on the part of the custodial parent AND you would need to have very strong evidence to back it up.

Like Perezito says, it had to be BAD, whatever she did, for the judge to rule permanent and sole custody to Bronstein. He's a VERY RICH man, so I'm staying tuned on this one…. Roan is damn cute too. the judge said that the father would maintain sole physical custody unless stone moves closer to san francisco. they have been battling custody of that poor kid for years-he was enrolled in 2 schools and going back and forth between the 2 schools depending on what week it was. the father was concerned with this a few years ago and Stone was the one that left the sf area, not the father moving up there. Maybe the kid has some problems and is not doing well with changing all the time. The father is the more stable of the 2-he does not move all over the country for work. And sole physical custody does not mean she does not get to see him.

I would get my ass out of LA and back to SF ASAP. Her son will resent that his mother isn't/doesn't care to be nearby. She has the money to live by her children. Phil is in SF and she could easily buy a home in SF. It was so nice when she lived in the condo up there. All that tracking back and forth whether by jet or not from LA to SF. What a DRAG. I feel so sorry for Quinn and Laird. They are sure to miss their baby brother Roan…
I think that some bad shit went down in this case.As we all know THIS BOY WAS AN ADOPTED CHILD.Also this bitch likes to date much younger men,almost teenagers.I hope that neither this ho,nor some jerk boyfriend of hers,beat this kid.adoption is a serious matter and whores like angelina jolie and this old fart have made it an ugly joke.not even dogs should be given to those hollywood WHORES for adoption.and I'm sure that in a couple of yrs some judge will take away Jolie's adopted kids too.can u imagine how much DOPE have their eyes seen in her bordel(I mean house)?

Makes you wonder how celebs who adopt are evaluated? Sharon adopted within the US so was obviously deemed a fit mother by someone - TWICE giving her babies. Yet, there's been more than one reported incident of her doing stupid stuff with those kids (ie leaving one in the car with a minder while dining in a nearby restaurant).
I have friends who are in the process of adopting, and while they have said they will take ANY baby they are still waiting after over a year, after jumping through every hoop and having every aspect of their lives looked into. Makes you wonder if the Sharon Stone's of this world are subject to the same treatment???

Don't feel bad, my son was taken over a drama loving, vindicive bitch of a neighbor, 7 weeks and 2 days later i finally got my 2 year old son back
so no one should be guessing or anything until we know more, yes shes a crazy bitch, but shes always loves her kids
Weird! THere hasn't been anything in the news, a la Britney, about why Sharon would be losing custody of her kid. Maybe she's in cougar overdrive and inviting too many young guys over and scaring her son.
