Letterman is Still Letting McCain Have It

Like momma says, lies always catch up to you.
David Letterman, again, gave it good to lying presidential candidate John McCain on Thursday night.
Dave likened McCain's diss on him for Katie Couric Wednesday night to feeling like 'an ugly date'.
At first, Letterman said to his Thursday night audience, he felt like a "patriot" to let McCain off, but, "Now I'm feeling like an ugly date. I feel used. I feel cheap. I feel sullied."
Dave went on to weave McCain slams into his material the rest of the night.
In a bit about David Blaine, the magician who just completed a hanging stunt in Central Park, Dave threw out this McCain zinger, saying, "They just left the guy hanging there. It's the same thing McCain did to me last night."
Dave's celebrity guest that night was heiress Paris Hilton, whom he described as McCain's first choice for a running mate.
And, noting that Johnny boy wanted to bow out of the first debate with Obama, Letterman said running mate Sarah Palin wanted to put off her debate with Democrat Joe Biden until after Election Day.

He also said Palin's United Nations appearance was like "take-your-daughter-to-work day."
During his interview later in the show with Paris, Letterman reportedly couldn't resist another mention of the GOP candidate. As y'all know McCain negatively likened Barack to Paris in one of his political ads. Letterman said to Paris, "I heard he dissed you. He dissed me."
Hope McCain is having fun laying in the bed he made.

I think this whole thing was a huge politcal stunt, he realized his numbers were slipping in the poles and he reacted like he usually does, quickly and rashly. I like McCain, I really do, he just disappointed me when he sided w/ Bush n invading Iraq and the more this campaign goes on the more I lose respect for the man that's why I'm dying for it to be over already. To be honest I thought w/ the debate focusing on Foreign Policy that McCain would knock this ut the ballpark… THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. Obama was gracious in giving McCain credit where credit was due and still managed to stick to the Big Picture. Obama said yeah the surge worked, however; we shouldn't havebeen there in the first place… I STILL AGREE W/ That. The war in Iraq has strengthend Iran why? b/c of the unification of the shiite Muslims! Iran and Iraq WERE enemies and now the Taliban exists in a country where once thee was no Taliban. For those that are confused on the Muslim issue Google the Caliphate and read why knowing the differences in Muslim culture matter. On the issue of Afghanistan and Pakistan we will definately NEED Special Forces in Northern Afghanistan b/c we're dealing w/ a "tribal" society NOT a structured government and in order to win in Afghanistan we MUST win over those tribal leaders. IMO, Obama held his own despite McCain's exp. In Foreign policy and Obama pummelled McCain in regards to the economy. Overall I tought this would be John's it was NOT he NEEDED to hit t out the ballpark and that just DID NOT happen.
