Is Hayden Panettiere's daddy screwed?
He's getting the book thrown at him - and rightfully so!
Prosecutors charged the Heroes star's poppa, Alan, with misdemeanor battery on Thursday for allegedly beating down his wife and H's mommy, Leslie.
Daddy Panettiere's arraignment is scheduled for October. He faces up to a year in a Los Angeles County jail if convicted.
We wonder how far the case will get very far, though.
Immediately after the domestic violence incident, the Panettiere's appeared on the show Extra and said that it was all one big 'misunderstanding'.
Has Leslie changed her tune? Did she find the strength to face down the douchebag abuser?

Not necessarily. Even though the victim may withdraw charges, the district attorney can pick it up and prosecute any ways. Facing up to a year in jail is standard for a misdemeanor. It's the longest time that he could receive. If he is a first time offender, he could do a plea in abeyance, which will suspend his guilty plea until successful completion of stipulations.

Please have your staff learn how to use apostrophes "the Panettiere's appeared on the show Extra and said that it was all one big 'misunderstanding'. There is no apostrophe in Panettiers. If you put one in there, it's like you're saying "The panettiere is appeared on the show…"

Since the police was called the incident was dealed and naturaly the district attorney prosecuted the case.Her mother took everything back but the prosecutor decided to go ahead i guess.What loser family so openly covering domestic abuse.This woman doesnt have any self respect.Even appearing with him the next day.
