Peter Abramczyk, a "passable crossdresser" from Connecticut, was arrested Thursday during a police setup.
The 39 year-old had placed an ad on Craigslist stating he'd be in Concord, NH for two days and was looking for some fun.
Police secretly contacted Abramczyk and set up a meeting at a nearby hotel.
Peter agreed to meet to engange in a sex act for money.
When Peter arrived he was busted by the cops in the hotel room and was charged on a misdemeanor prostitution count.
Abramczyk was released on a $500 personal recognizance bail and has an arraignment scheduled for October 22.

This is not legal advice and I am not an attorney, but my understanding is that it would be entrapment only if the crime would NOT have occurred without the police involvement. Since he placed an ad on Craig's List before the police became involved, he obviously had intended to commit a crime whether or not the police intervened. Hence, no entrapment, only sleazy police tactics. Why is sex for money a crime anyway? Can't a girl make a buck these days?

I do think this is selective entrapment. Nowhere in his ad on craigslist does it mention that he is looking for $$$. unfortunately there are so many prostitutes advertising on craigslist, i found this out because one of them has a very similar phone number to mine. in one of her ads, she put my phone number and i started getting calls saying i was under erotic services. there's something wrong if you need to pay for sex.
