I am ALL for literacy programs…but, this particular organization (the Second And Seven) only travels to, and helps those in the Columbus, OH area who happen to be in the 2nd grade.
I will save my donations for organizations who help kids nationwide…but, thanks for the info, anyway.

LITERACY? In the U.S?????????? you guys dont ever even read books anyway. A nation of thick illiterates, thats what we in Europe think, and we produced Shakespeare, james Joyce, Charles Dickens, George Orwell, not to mention every great writer/thinker/artist that ever was!

funny how you can post all these link to charities that are asking for money, but you can't post a link to a petition that only asks for signatures, no cash, when someone asks you super nicely. especially when that person was really nice to you in posts, until you ignored their very simple request. i guess only certain people/groups that interest you personally deserve help?
