Madge Hit With $270,000 Fine!

Madonna's shiteous less than Madonna-worthy London gig is continuing to haunt her!
As we previously mentioned, Madge started her London show about 40 minutes late, which of course meant her show ended much later than planned.
Well, unfortunately for Madge, the venue - Wembley Stadium - has some strict curfew laws.
So, venue authorities have now hit her with a $270,000 fine, which comes out to $100,000 for every fifteen minutes she exceeded past the established curfew.
Madonna's late end also made it difficult for many fans to get home from the gig because public transportation stopped before the concert's end.
Pay back's a beyotch!
But, at the same time, $270,000 is probably chump change for the pop queen!

I've been a fan of Madonna's for years. I used to sing along to "Like A Virgin" before I even knew what the word "virgin" meant. I've been to see 3 of her concerts in the last 6 years. It kind of bums me out to see the recent pictures of her. The "teacher's arm" captured in this photo is repulsive. For an artist who has made millions from her image, I think it's time to reconsider her exposure. I mean, she IS 50 years old and a mother of 3. I preferred the softer Madonna (re: fatter). This body is too extreme and her image is becoming ghastly in my opinion. I wouldn't even comment on it, except for the fact that she has USED it over the years to sell herself. Sadly, I think it's time to repackage the merchandise.

Public transport wasn't due to close for 2 hours after the end of the concert. But Transport for London and the local authorities took the decision to close to the subway station and strand everyone.

She is always late on stage! That's nothing new. One time she came on 1.5 hours late during her Drowned World tour. It's gives the audience time to get trashed though.
This woman is the most OVER - rated, OVER - paid famous person in history!!!!! God, I just don't GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her dancing is totally white girl - although suggestive may mean "good dancing" to some. Her singing ability is completely average. I've heard better American Idols, frankly. I do enjoy a couple of songs she's made but her talent does not equal her popularity by a LONGSHOT.

The transport continued to run, they just closed the station due to "over crowding". But its a huge, popular venue, and they normally just slowly filter people in.
It has the curfew due to being an open roofed stadium in a residential area.
I'm surprised people arent causing trouble for her AND the venue. thats A LOT of money that "normies" dont have to spend frivolously. the added transport plus a shit overpriced show? I'm glad I hate madonna.

Sadly, the fact that (for Madonna) $250,000 is chump change provides no incentive for her to show up on time or finish the concert on time. What makes this sad is her lack of concern for her fans. Leaving them in the lurch with no way to get home (public transport closed) is so wrong. I know since she doesn't ride public transportation anymore, it probably never entered her mind…..but it should have!!

It makes me sick…these 'entertainers' who can't seem to show up for their own shows on time. I mean, c'mon already…the audience members paid to see a show (and probably paid way too much) and she can't be bothered?!?
Talk about biting the hand that feeds you! I'm glad she got fined. There are some of us who go to concerts that have to hire a babysitter, go to work the next day, etc. But because she doesn't live in the real world anymore she (and so many others) don't have to be bothered with the realities of us common folk.

Saw Madge in Paris and she was 30 min. late there too. BUT Paris subway had us from stadium to left bank in less than 30 minutes and that was with 80,000 fans. Stadium was highly organized! This is completely London's fault.
