Kiefer's Bizarre Phobia

If you see Kiefer Sutherland dressed strangely it's because the actor has no mirrors in his house. He's scared of them!
He says he finds them "frightening."
In a case of art imitating life, Sutherland recently starred in a film called Mirrors in which he plays a security guard who sees weird stuff in the mirrors at the department store he patrols.

Not really. I haven't looked in a mirror in about 15 years.
I think that's sort of understandable. Mirrors are pretty freaky, especially when the room is dark. Eek.

he does not like looking at himself-he does not go to see his own movies and does not watch himself on tv-that is someone who is not happy the way he looks. he has addressed this numerous times. Not a news story and definitely not new

Most ugly people shun mirrors. Sometimes at the mall, I'm thinking some people are so damn ugly they should shun people and crowds, too. No one wants to see too much ugly.

I only have a small mirror in my house so I can see my eyeballs for contact insertion. I don't like mirrors or reflections at all. I will avoid walking by glass anything.
Maybe he saw The Ring. That movie freaked me out on mirrors for a long time.

but when washin my hands i look to the floors, or shopping, i just look above or around shiny glass
I saw mirrors and that movie scared the shit out of me… oh lord, scariest shit ever… i had some problem with mirrors the first 5 minutes after i saw the movie, but i realized that i am not a gigantic panzieeee..

Re: Vandal – My son is 11 and refuses to have a mirror in his room. He's terrified of them. It's a lot more common than people realize and you're right…it has nothing to do with looks or vantiy.

Re: fofogirl – im 22 now and it doesnt rule my life or effect me that much. i have been told that i must have had a bad situation with mirrors when i was young. or a strong imagination that made me have a bad preception of mirrors. but i wouldnt worry about it
