Sarah Palin certainly is good at one thing.

And that's giving Saturday Night Live great ratings!

This past weekend, SNL was the highest-rated program of the night on all broadcast television.

The show managed to average a 6.0 overnight rating/15 share in the market.

That's up 46% from the same episode last season!

Looks like people really like Tina Fey playing Palin.

Will SNL be able to continue its momentum past the elections????

      SNL sucks, has for years. What will happen to that shit show after the election? It will continue to suck. Sorry kiddies. My opinion has nothing to do with my political stance, just an observation from someone who used to record SNL every week and watched it Sunday from bed while I was sleeping off the drunkenness from night before. Maybe that haze had something to do with it???

      While Fey's skit might have been the highlight of the show, I must say that the rest of it was dreadfully unfunny! The whole new season of SNL has been bitterly disappointing and that's too bad. I've always been a fan, but the show is fading (maybe because Fey is no longer head writer?). I wonder if other people agree with me?

      Re: smart girl – I agree with you, Smart Girl. SNL has not been good in a long long time. Every once in awhile, they nail a skit or two, but all in all, a very lame show. Tina Fey is so talented and her Sarah Palin is the most perfect impersonation I've seen in a long time, but too bad the rest of the show is dismal.

      Yup, Tina does a great impression, but the difference is that she is smart and knowledgeable, and Sarah Palin is clueless about the real world. The scary part is that Tina used Sarah's ACTUAL responses to Katie Couric on SNL, they were so absurd. It would be funny if it weren't so damn scary. Palin is out of her league.
