Janet Hospitalized, Cancels Concert Minutes Before Show!
This is awful news!
One of our favorite divas, Miz Janet Jackson, canceled her Montreal concert last night.
The reason?
Janet had taken ill and had to be rushed to the hospital!
A rep for Miz Jackson confirms that the singer "got suddenly ill" during her soundcheck, shortly before the concert.
According to a statement released by W&W Public Relations, Janet had to be immediately rushed to the hospital just before the scheduled show time.
Reports are that Janet is being monitored at the hospital, but no further details were given about her condition.
Though, like a true performer, they did state that she hopes to reschedule the show.
Let's hope it's nothing serious and she gets out of the hospital soon!

If you have to go to the hospital, you're in pretty bad shape. Especially for a famous person who probably doesn't want to draw that kind of negative attention towards themselves. She is still fairly young and healthy, so I would be surprised if it was a major medical emergency such as heart failure, stroke, or any kind of major gastrointestional problems. More than likely it is probably alcohol or somekind of drug withdrawal. You go a major alcohol binge for a while and then stop drinking, you can get really, really sick from that and have to be hospitalized.

You can be hospitalized for any infection that causes a high fever, dehydration or is not responding to drugs quickly enough. She could have gallstones or a strained/ulcerated gastro system (people who yo-yo diet she does are at high risk). And who's to assume she's "healthy" she's an African American female in her 40's (that in & of itself creates risk factors) and we have no idea what conditions she may have going on right now. The fact is I could spew out a whole list of things that could realistically and reasonably be the issue, but right now the only people that need to know are her doctors & the patient herself.

This is classic Janet. She is NOT healthy and doesn't take care of herself! I went to see her in like '95 and she did 4 songs, puked back stage and got "rushed" to the hospital.
