Lauren Conrad's overpriced clothing line was recently dropped from trendy Beverly Hills boutique Kitson.
But, the store has decided to add another overpriced, Hills-inspired line to its collection.
Two Whitney Port designed dresses can now be picked up at the store.
The dress on the left is priced at $495. The ruffle round the neck dress is $345.
Would you spend that kind of money on those dresses????

The one on the left is okay, but it's nothing so special to warrent the "designer" tag - it's nothing that you haven't seen for the past two years. The one on the right just sucks. That zipper is sooooo unflattering - that's what caught my eye before that ring around the collar thing. I feel bad for these girls b/c someone is blowing smoke up their asses that they're REAL designers - just cause you can shop your ass off doesn't mean you can design. This "line" is headed for the discount rack, too. And Where are these dumb girls' marketing people to say "yeah, you may make some money, but you need to price your line so the girl in Ohio who watches your show can buy your clothes". That's when they're gonna make $$$ in clothing. That's Marketing 101.

I like the sequinish effect on the left dress, but I don't like the huge sleeves. The right dress is a big mistake. I've always liked my zippers discreet and hidden. Plus the zipper contrasts the dress. It shouldn't stand out. As for the price tags, they are ridiculous prices for simple looking dresses. But if I were a Whitney fan, I would spend the extra 100 just for the name.

I'm going to be honest, those are beautiful dresses. If i were filthy rich, i'd buy them in a heartbeat. they are obviously not for the majority…but they are gorgeous! And i like Whitney!

2. these are one of a kind dresses, probbaly made with great material from girls that worked at VOGUE, thats huge in itself. and they are starting designers and usually starting designers start out cheaper. But with lauren and whitney having all this popularity and power, im sure those rich bitches in L.A are buying this stuff
