Despite reuniting last December for a charity show in London, Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin firmly denies any rumors of a comeback tour.
Bummer!
Plant - who is currently traveling with Alison Krauss on their Raising Sand tour - called the rumors "frustrating and ridiculous," but adds that he wishes only success for the remaining members and member's son.
In case you're too young to remember, Led Zeppelin was one of music history's hugest bands. Despite the 1980 death of their drummer, John Bonham, and subsequent breakup, Led Zeppelin's music echoes throughout pop culture, including a collaboration between P. Diddy (who was "Puff Daddy" at the time) and Zep guitarist Jimmy Page.
Bonham's son, Jason, picked up the sticks for the band's December reunion.
But that's probably it for Led Zeppelin - even they can't finish playing Stairway to Heaven.

Jimmy Page had asked Robert Plant to go on tour. Everyone else was aboard, after all there is a few bucks to be made here. Robert Plant is doing another CD with Alison Krauss (why - the first wasn't that great) and refused to go on tour.
With all the Led Zeppelin tribute bands out there, Jimmy Page can pull a "Rock Star" and get a better singing one out there. The die-hard fans will still pay.

When Jon Bonham died, so did Led Zeppelin. Kinda like when Cliff Burton died of Metallica…the band never was the same. Why go back? Their music will never die, at least here in Southern California.
His name is totally JOHN BONHAM. The only JON I know is JON BON JOVI. Big difference.

Damn it to hell! I would chunk out hundreds to see the legend that is Mr. Jimmy Page, all by himself! Robert will soon realize that there is only so far you can ride the "bluegrass train", and they'll be back. Anyone with their right mind would rather hear the heavy, mystical, steamrolling Zeppelin tunes rather than the twangy, whiny, overdone bluegrass crap with Allison Kraus. And give Jason Bonham a chance to prove what badass chops he inherited from his dad - I've seen him NAIL Dazed and Confused live, no easy task. But if anyone can do it, it's the spawn on the legendary immortal Bonzo!

No matter,there music is still better than ANYTHING made since by ANYONE.If you don't think so keep it to yourself cause your too young to know or too old to give a shit.
too young to remember? not everyone who wasn't alive when they were big is unable to be a fan. some of us actually listen to good music, not the CRAP churned out during our childhoods/teenage years. i love led zepplin.
without john bonham though, they really wouldn't be the same, so it's just as well they don't get back together.
