Rock of Love Production Halted After Crew Member Kills 2 Teens

Too sad.
According to a new report, production on Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels has been suspended following a fatal accident in Southern Illinois involving one of its crew members who police say fell asleep while driving a production vehicle and killed two 19-year olds in another vehicle.
The fatal accident happened this past Friday.
In a statement, Bret said, “As a father of two, I cannot even imagine what the families must be going through at this time. I will make every attempt to reach out to them to let them know that my heart and prayers are with them during their time of grief.”
However, The Chicago Tribune reports neither Brett nor anyone at VH1 had contacted the families.
Sheesh. Get some class, Brett.

I wish you would educate yourself before making off the cuff comments. Bret has probably been told by his lawyers not to make contact. That is standard procedure these days…unfortunately….because there will probably be a lawsuit and any comment made could increase the legal liability or be taken as a statement of fault. So, while Bret feels bad, it is not smart legally to just call up the folks and say sorry. Thank the personal injury lawyers for that….

How sad for these gals families I understand there is a need to contact the family, but there is the liability issue and admiting guilt. Medical reasons, exhaustion all of these reasons are irrelevant at this time. Who is right, who is classy - really what ev. The only thing that matters is that these two gals families are grieving and need time to grieve. Whether or not Brett contacts them at this time I'm sure they could care less. These daughter/sister etc is not coming home. Pray for the families.
