Note to filmmakers: Make sure to Shia-proof the set when working with him. And make sure you have A LOT of insurance!

The injury-prone actor hurt himself so badly on the set of the second Transformers movie this week that he required stitches.

He apparently cut himself above the eyebrow with a prop.

We just can't take him anywhere!

But, you gotta give him props credit for being a trooper - he went right back to work, bandaged hand and all.

      i read that there was supposed to be a scene with a controlled explosion on the set of T2 that went awry. so something in the explosion hit him in the face :( Luckily, he just needed a few stiches and will be okay, it could have been a lot worse!
