Congrats, Jay-Z!

On Wednesday, Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter was awarded a Global Leadership Award by the United Nations at a gala in New York City.

Jay has done lots of work to bring clean water to Africa through the Water for Life campaign.

But, Beyonce wasn't there to see her hubby pick-up the award.

Getting an award from the UN is a pretty big deal, right?

Wonder where she was.

You can bring all the water and food and immunizations you want to Africa. BUT until you stabilize the countries where dictators recruit young children and slaughter women and children, steal all the cash, and don't allow business to function, well, it's all crap. hundreds of millions of dollars are in in swiss bank accounts- all given or donated by other countries to "help" Africa. But of course, if anyone goes over to STOP genocide, then they are ugly capitalists, war mongers and are called "terrorists". Good luck with throwing your money down that drain. Get rid of the dictators. Stop the genocide. Otherwise you are saving people for a life of misery anyway.

Yup she was probably in Bermuda because she performed Thursday last night. So I'm guessing she came here Wednesday.
