Fall Out Boy Donates $50,000 to No On 8

November is going to be a big month!!! Especially in California, where the right to marry is being threatened by Prop No 8.
But, the campaign against the proposition just got some more support. This time from gay-friendly band Fall Out Boy, who just donated $50,000.
Last week Pete Wentz blogged:
"There are a lot of causes out there — a lot of 'good' fights to be fought. I think proposition 8 is pretty lame — as many others do too. It's fucking lame."
California Equality put it in more G-rated terms, releasing this statement from the band late Wednesday:
"We believe government shouldn't legislate love. Vote no on proposition 8."
However you wanna put it, it's awesome news!

Our government should worry more about the war and the economy. Fuck Prop 8. Who are they to tell someone that their love isn't equal to a straight person's? Gay people getting married does nothing to diminish the love I have for my husband. Imagine being with someone for 20 years and not being able to make a decision for your partner if they're in the hospital? Imagine losing everything because your partner died suddenly and you have no rights to things that belong to the both of you. It's terrible. They deserve the same rights as anyone else.
