Kanye West's Curb Your Enthusiasm-inspired comedy for HBO has been shelved, possibly for being 'too hardcore'.
HBO, the former home of the Sopranos, is afraid of hardcore?????
Here's what the director of the Kanye pilot, Larry Charles, said in a recent interview (quick note, the director also directed the movie Borat):
"It was really good, but again I think it was too hardcore for HBO…People gave it a very good response and it seems to be on the shelf right now. The management has shifted at HBO so we're waiting to see."
No wonder HBO has been sucking lately!
