Hey Boo Boo!

And we're back to using old ideas!

Warner Bros. is creating a feature film from the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon, Yogi Bear.

Ash Brannon, who co-wrote Surf's Up, will direct the movie.

Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia, who executive produced That '70s Show, are writing the screenplay.

The flick will be a live-action and animated movie, similar to last year's Alvin & the Chipmunks.

Much of the movie is going to be live action, with Yogi Bear and Boo Boo in CG animation.

Who should play Ranger Smith?????

    Hollywood needs to stop butchering classic cartoons… this sounds like an awful idea. And why do they always have to mix CGI and live action? Oh yeah and Surf's Up was the movie with the surfing penguins, Surfer Dude was the "McConagay" movie. Two very different things really.
