Back In The Swing Of Things

As we told you last week, DJ AM was released from the hospital after the horrible plane crash that killed four people and badly burned and injured him and Travis Barker.
A.M. even had to undergo several procedures to treat his burns.
But, just yesterday he was spotted outside his house taking out the trash.
Most people might not like running such mundane and tedious chores - but he's lucky to be alive and able to take his own trash out!
A.M. is seen with bandages around his neck and his left arm appears to be in a full cast.
Go get some rest and let's hope he fully recovers soon.

i still haven't heard much about anyone else….
… a photoless report would have been better here I believe. The man has been through hell and although we are all glad that he can take out the trash maybe give him a little peace…for a while.
Now that 's a real man…able to overcome his obstacles and keep it movin!!!!

Most people think that they're invincible but situations like such really makes think about our priorities in life and how to appreciate the fact that we can perform such ordinary activities.

I gave him your screen name though just to make sure you do not troll other sites. One more quick, you said somewhere last night that it is up to parents to police their kids online, well asshole, as YOU supposedly well know, you cannot watch them 24 hrs a day, or maybe this would not have happened to your kid. The pic that was up of DJ AM earlier…the one where he was going to the memorial looked better than this one..he had a small bandage on the side of his neck…that's it..but I couldn't see his left arm..so maybe he had this wrap on back then too…poor guy…haven't heard much about Travis…I guess his wounds were worse…"lower extremities" makes me wonder how badly he is hurt!!? Wonder if it is hard to walk etc…the media made it sound like DJ AM fared worse..but sounds like Travis did….mentally and physically….wish them both well!!
Thank God his face is ok. I hope he heals nicely so he can dj again.

Re: Starequisite – I think he has bandages all around his mid-section. My cousin works in a hospital in LA and said that Travis Barker transfered there from the other hospital. So He is still in hospital but one closer to home.
its weird how only the celebrites survived the crash…I know he is very grateful though. He sounds like a great guy…
Looks like he's wearing compression clothing, which is pretty typical for burn victims. Just an FYI. In the past I had to wear a compression shirt for my burns as well.

I have taken care of burn patients in the trauma room, and I can not think of anything more painful, I hope he and Travis heal but I know this will remain with him for life. He has a chance to make some thing positive from this horrible experience. Best wishes

That accident must have been so traumatic for these guys, I hope they also get support for that and not just for their physical pain.
The way he's walking, it looks like he's lock-kneed or he's swinging his hip out to make a step. I could just be the photo angle, but it just doesn't look right to me.
And I agree, Free, they are both going to need real trauma counseling and will probably have a HUGE dose of Survivor's Guilt.
