Elizabitch: Not Going Anywhere - Yet!

wenn51555680__opt1.jpg

There's been a lot of recent rumors about Barbara Walters wants to get rid of super conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck from The View.

So, Hasselbeck is speaking out, through her agent, to deny the rumors.

In a statement yesterday, her agent said "While Elisabeth has a great relationship with Fox News, there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that she is leaving The View."

Riiiiiiiight.

"Elisabeth is passionate in her beliefs and enjoys being a part of this dynamic group of women and engaging in daily conversations," the statement continues.

We doubt the other ladies feel the same way!

Even The View's execs are having to "defend" Hasselbeck.

The View's Executive Publicity Director added that "Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie, executive producers of The View, consider Elisabeth to be vital to the program."

Must be hard having to lie all the time!

Everyone can tell the other ladies are getting tired and annoyed with Elizabitch.

^ Yes dear, you need to be. ;) Oh wait, didn't yo' poor white trash Mamma and Daddy have you on Ritalin? Guess it didn't work. hahhahahhha.

More liberals resorting to personal attacks because they don't agree with someone's views. I can't believe I used to be one of you people! I'm an independent and a social liberal, but I'm SORRY you just don't hear republicans going on the rampage the way you libs do. Get over it, open your ears sometimes, and start using your brains instead of your hearts when it comes to politics. Oh, and P.S. — liberals aren't actually morally superior to conservatives, you just think you are!

Why are they getting tired of her and annoyed by her? That panel is most often 3 to 1 against her, not very balanced. So if she leaves we'll only get the Joy Behar view of the world? This show has really gone downhill post Meredith Vieira. They need to hire people who aren't so ideological.

    4. 104

Elisabeth is annoying in a good way. Leave her alone. I hate her politics but she is personable and not a pain in the ass like Ann Coulture

    5. 105

the problem is not her conservative views, the problem is shes a cunt/bitch. :)

    6. 106

I watch "The View" everyday. If I was Elisabeth, I would leave the show, she gets bullied by Joy Behar & Whoopie Goldberg all the time…They disrespect her, I don't understand why she stays on the show, they have no respect for her there, even Barbara Walters attacks her sometimes. Elisabeth is a smart girl and the prettiest of them all, maybe they're just jealous of her…

    7. 107

I don't watch the View, because of Elisabitch! She totally ruins the show.
She's a brainwashed freak, she would support the Republican's if Jack the Ripper was running. I think she should go fight in Iraq if she gets canned. She can't live off the washed up football player she married :o )
      Karma is awesome!

    8. 108

      WHY???????????

    9. 109

GET RID OF HER, I WILL NOT WATCH TILL THEY GET RID OF HER!

    10. 110

Hasslecrack - so fun to hate! (ie, to be ultimately annoyed by) I don't agree with ANYTHING she says - no prob - I believe in the 1st ammendment wid all my heart. But the shrill voice, the non-stop shrieking, and the meltdown when asked to support her arguements with facts - hysterically Hasslecrack! Soooooo annoying. Don't cut her Babs - I live for Lizzie's mentally unstable outbursts. Sorry if that's too mean (not really).

    11. 111

Re: leesa – uhhhh, why do you watch then?

    12. 112

I am an avid watcher of The View. I very Rarely agree with Elisabeth. However, I appreciate that she brings a different "VIEW" to the table. The woman are not all suppose to agree. That would make a very boring show.

    13. 113

She's the ONLY one that holds a different opinion… talk about making it just "opinions we in hollywood believe in", not different views from different women. Talk about just a republican bashing, just cuz they're republican and therefore the devil, from here on out on the show if they get rid of her.

    14. 114

I am sick of the "other ladies". And I use the word ladies with reservation.

    15. 115

I don't like Hasselback's views on many things but in order to get a REAL "view" to represent women's opinions, attitudes, etc., you must have people with different ideas and backgrounds. While I have been a lifelong democrat, I often feel that Whoopi, Joy, Sherri and Barbara bully Hasselback and don't try to, at least, see her point of view (no matter how warped her political views are). I'm no fan of Obama and I think they often can't see past their undying love for him to accomodate another point of view. To even the odds, they may need to add another conservative to the show so that Elizabeth might have someone to aid her in their one-sided debates. If you want to have a fair point of view, then both sides should be represented without the obvious bias that the other ladies have for Obama/Biden. Hasselback off the show wouldn't be a big loss but if that happens, they need a couple of bitchy Republicans to give the other ladies a dose of their own medicine. Show all sides of a debate or change your name to "The Democratic Party View."

    16. 116

Why do you all want to get rid of everyone who doesn't have the exact same view? That is our freedom- freedom of speech and opinions. I am sick of hearing you call her names because you don't agree with her. Why have a show of all the same opinions? Do you think it is fair that she is out numbered? I don't even want to view this website anymore, I can find other nonbiased and not so hateful websites.

    17. 117

Thanks Je ne ha, exactly- what's the point of the The View if there is only one.

    18. 118

these christian beeches are the most evil:
says vile stuff bout the others at church vespers..

    19. 119

I guess it's completely acceptable to be an outspoken democrat, but not an outspoken republican. Hmm. Funny how that works. Glad I'm an independent so I can speak my mind and no one says anything.

    20. 120

I think Elizabeth is incredibly dumb, and MANY times, I can't believe she truly believes most of the crap that comes out of her mouth. But a lot of Americans agree with her. She represents a small, but significant portion of the American view, and that's sort of the point of the show - to have all views represented. Essentially, she represents the ignorant, lol~ But yes, she is very annoying. She has this blind loyalty to the Republican party. BLIND. She even likes George Bush. I mean, not even Republicans like George Bush anymore…

    21. 121

it's good to have different opinions on the show. i'm sure once they are done "arguing" they are all fine. i just think you don't like her because she has strong republican views.

    22. 122

Is she actually really *trying* to resemble Nicole Ritchie or is this just a huge coincidence?

    23. 123

The way she pouts when she talks is enough to not like ANYTHING that comes out of that ultra-conservative, scared of everything, mouth! She acts like she'll cry if she doesn't get her way, all the time, the prettiest girl, the center of attention. I'm sure she's a handful at home, and her kid's teachers cringe when she comes marching into the school.

    24. 124

Re: FATruca – You are so right, well said!

    25. 125

Elisabeth Hasslebeck is such a complete joke. and i feel like the more points brought up against her views, the more immature and condescending she gets toward the other women.
