Indo-American statesman and devout Hindu, Rajan Zed, said he was hurt by the video. He said that too often revered Hindu imagery is used too lightly in pop culture, contributing to discouraging stereotypes.
His voice joins those of officials at the Hindu Alliance of India, Shri Ramayan Pracharini Sabha, India Heritage Panel, who would also like Nat to "distance herself from the Banhart video."
We're sure she'd be all too happy to.
