They haven't spoken those words out loud on tape for all to see. I think Palin is great. She can stand her own, was very truthful and pointed out many issues that Obama and Biden try to skirt under the rug. Especially the fact that Biden support McCains views before he was put on the ticket, and he didn't dispute that fact. I agree that She is a person who people should educate themselves on, just as I should have to know where Biden and Obama stood on Gay marriage, but for me, that was a null point concerning the country and all it's going through. I was just surprised by it. That's all.

I thought Biden was outstanding, he showed just how passionate and knowledgeable he is with the issues! While Palin didn't fall on her face like many expected her to, I was outraged that she had the nerve to admit that she wasn't going to actually answer the questions asked of her, and she wanted "more power" as vice president. Wow! She really dropped the ball when she was asked if she agreed or disagreed with the way Bush has handled Israel, you could see the expression on her face she just had no idea, so she tap danced around the question completely. She showed just how clueless and dangerous she is, the Obama/Biden ticket sealed the deal last night!
Biden didn't say he wouldn't support gay marriage, he said he believes it is our CIVIL RIGHT. He just wouldn't do it! He supports it because it is our right as AMERICANS!

I just thought Biden's was over the top… it really turned me off because politicians know they are actors on a stage to a certain extent and to try to manipulate emotions always pisses me off. I don't know about you, but I thought Sarah Alaska was REALLY annoying. I get that she wants to make herself likable and to connect with the American people but "Say it aint so Joe" and "Darn right!" aren't really my cup of tea. Time and time again she avoided answering questions and just talked about whatever she pleased. She might have thought it was a clever cover-up, but it was clear that she simply didn't know how to answer the questions. She was talking, all right, but she wasn't really saying anything.
All of her answers were scripted, she could only answer what she had studied, she would stray from the question and go back to another topic she had better knowledge of. She did alot of reading from que cards and it seemed Biden knew his stuff without having to rely on the same. She may have done better than expected but my mind has not changed…Biden certainly did better, and remained a respectful gentlemen. Calling him Joe was a bit much dont you think…trying to win over americans by portraying him as just an average Joe did not sit well with me. Listening to her speak makes me physically ill, and her stare into the TV creeped me out! Biden knew his facts and countered her on many of them-showing he had a better knowledge of the issue at hand. Showing again , her campaign is nothing but repeated lies…
We may be "average" folks it doesnt mean we are not smart ones…I can see thru her and Mc Cain, tell them what they want to hear so were elected- Erp…I dont think so, we need change.

The debate only proved to me that Sarah Palin can memorize bullet points and she cannot pronounce nuclear properly.
The only reason people are saying she did "ok" is because there really was no other way she could've been any worse than her previous interviews. Unless she started stripping at the podium or showed up drunk. Of course she was going to do "ok" after practicing for 5 weeks. It still doesn't mean she has the capacity or experience to become a good vice president.
The fact that she thought that Cheney's idea of expanding the legislative powers of the VP made me crap my pants. That is the complete opposite of what this country needs. The VP office is meant to be part of the executive branch… NOT THE LEGISLATIVE AND EXECTUIVE.

Wow. This is definitely the most interesting election year ever. It excites me that so many people are interested.
I agree with so many different points of view on this one. I agree Palin is Sexy. I agree she is "folksy". I agree she was annoying winking and giving shout outs. I agree she is likable.
What surprised me though, is this is the first time I had heard Biden speak, and I actually liked him too (more than I expected!). I liked his smile. There you have it. I liked what he had to say, but his smile showed a genuine warmth. If I'm wrong, so be it. It doesn't hurt that I prefer Obama to McCain.

Yes…we were watching the same debate, except I was not not high or drunk like you obviously were. I heard everything they said. I have watched it numerous times, for I tivo-ed the telecast. I thought it to be utterly preposterous that Obama's team thought it to be necessary to BOTOX Joe's face within an inch of his life for his debate with hott-ass hockey mom Sarah Palin. He "swept her away" about as much as Guy Ritchie's film "SWEPT AWAY" swept away-ed audiences at the box-office. Governor Palin was the clear winner of this debate. Joe had some good points as well, but he lied and back-peddled a lot…which is fine in my book, but he got caught. I applaud him for his effort and his beautiful tic-tack teeth. It all comes down to trust. I trust Sarah Palin. I think it's refreshing to see someone who actually says what she means, unlike Obama, who has such an agenda, to control this country and more than likely try to destroy it will say anything you want to hear to get a vote. He's full of SHIT and you are a sucker for believing what he is selling. Oh…and btw, I don't need a dictionary. There were no big words used last night. It was aimed at the common american. I agree, he has a great education however past presidents have proven that doesn't mean much.
As for alternative energy, he does have ideas however he still supports offshore drilling AND wants to open up our strategic oil reserves.
A democratic congress approved in Jan to not only extend the timeline but to also send MORE money than Bush was asking for as well as they supported the troop surge. He can talk all day long but remeber, he has to get it by congress first.
As for taxes, here is a couple of things about that. 1) That is his 10 year plan and to see all those tax rate stick, he has to get it through congress. NEVER and I mean NEVER will happen so why it looks good on paper, don't go spenind your new 'tax check" yet, he won't ever come. As for taxing the rich and the big companies, that ONLY hurts middle America. No company will suck the extra taxes up. It will come out of the benefits their employees

John McCain is a war hero because he was a POW who almost died multiple times because of torture and he actually had the chance to LEAVE EARLY but refused to because he knew it would only hurt others.
