Doesn't she realize newborns from other country don't stay that way? Newborns grow up and you're still the mom. It's not like a puppy. If the newborn turns into a monster child (presumably from bad parenting) you can't give them back.

everyone is so concerned with getting on the help the other countries band wagon that they seem to forget that there are too many children in our own back yards that are in desperate need of love and financial aid.. Yes helping other countries children is great and needed but helping our own should not be overlooked- anything will help like just being a big brother or sister or helping out at the ymca or donating time to schools as an aid–what about raising money for children's clothing in the cold months or money for food in schools for the kids on welfare. once we help our own more chance that they will grow up and pass it on…

Why do so many of these celebrities adopt children from overseas. There are plenty of kids in the US, not just cute newborns, who need a loving home and are currently shuffled from foster home to foster home.
