87-year old funny lady and icon Carol Channing (who does love the gays) suffered a fall at her California home and broke her hip and legs about two weeks ago.
She suffered these painful injuries just a day before a concert she had planned in San Francisco.
The concert was to kick off "Hello, Carol! A Celebration of Carol Channing," an exhibition on her life and work.
The exhibition is scheduled to run at the Museum of Performance & Design in S.F. through March 14.
We look forward to seeing you in San Fran soon, Carol!

That is not good. She is the only Dolly. She got screwed when they picked Barbarasstreisand to appear in the film instead of Ms. Channing.

Really SCARY for my European taste to look at all these old women with much too many medical surgeries done - why can t American women grow old with GRACE and STYLE?! They all look like monsters and ghosts!

She is SO awsome. I love Carol Channing. I saw her in Hello Dolly about ten years ago, and I couldn't believe what a fantastic job she did. I was wondering if she'd be able to do it at her age. She did NOT disappoint. What a funny, classy lady.
