first!
Take care David. Don't let the dingos get you down.
Yeah for David, Party like it's 1999!!!!
He was a free man in Paris. He was unfettered and alive. There was no one calling him for favours. No ones future to decide. If he could go back there tomorrow. Stoking the star maker machinery behind the poplar song. Because he deals in dreamers
And telephone screamers
Lately he wondered what he do it for
Since he has it his way
he's just going to walk through those doors
And wander
Down the champs elysees
Going cafe to cabaret
Thinking how he'll l feel when he finds
That very good friend of his…..
I think David is going to Paris. According to Joni Mitchell who wrote that song for David. David Au Revior!, Adieu! 'à bientôt !
David Geffen has led such an interesting life over the yrs.
May he enjoy his retirement,he deserves it!
Of course, it's possible that President Obama might appoint Mr. Geffen to an ambassadorship, so severing his ties to the studio might be seen as getting ready for a physical move away from L.A…..
