ABC Sued For Copycatting

Disney seems really anal. We can't believe their lawyers didn't square things away!

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Japanese broadcaster Tokyo Broadcasting System has filed a lawsuit against ABC charging that the alphabet channel's summer hit, Wipeout, is "a blatant copycat" of several of its classic competition series.

The Japanese broadcaster said, “From the moment ABC revealed ‘Wipeout’ to the public, that program has been routinely described as a ‘rip-off’ and ‘knockoff’ of Platiff’s shows. ABC’s willfull and wrongful use of Platiff’s Shows to create ‘Wipeout’ is egregious, inexcusable and not to be tolerated.”

Settling is cheaper, right?

MXC is way better with their dubbing over the voices. I love Captain T'neal and Guy Ledouche and Kenny Blankenship. I haven't seen it on forever though. Does anyone know what time/station it comes on if it still does?
