if it were about marriage, it would be different. There was a proposition in CA a few years ago about legalizing gay marriage. It was overwhelmingly defeated. A court overturned it. This is about saying that the courts cannot overturn the will of the people. What we need to do is find a way to create a legal entity for same sex unions.
And if we hadn't had the courts overturn so many damn propositions, we'd probably be a lot more mellow eating our granola & hanging out in our redwood hot tubs.

How hard is it to explain to them that there are all forms of love out there, and that different types of love are right for different types of people. What that means is that the children that are pro-created in this generation, will be financial contributors when their aging parents begin to draw on social security resources and greater medical resources. if it were about marriage, it would be different. There was a proposition in CA a few years ago about legalizing gay marriage. It was overwhelmingly defeated. A court overturned it. This is about saying that the courts cannot overturn the will of the people. What we need to do is find a way to create a legal entity for same sex unions.
And if we hadn't had the courts overturn so many damn propositions, we'd probably be a lot more mellow eating our granola & hanging out in our redwood hot tubs.

It just makes me so upset that my best friends and family cant marry and have the same rights and title a straight couple has. There can never be enough LOVE in this world. ONE LOVE!!!!
