Vertigo Claims Another
First Janet Jackson, now oldie rocker Meat Loaf!
Meat Loaf was awarded the "Q Classic Song gong" for his 1979 hit Bat Out Of Hell at Monday night's Q Awards ceremony in London, but he had to leave the festivities early to receive medical treatment after suffering vertigo, according to reports.
Meat Loaf apparently hit the red carpet looking dishevelled, was unsteady on his feet AND spoke incoherently when he accepted his gong on-stage. Award show-goers also say he almost fell during the award presentation!
Vertigo is no joke!
Get better, Meat Loaf.
P.S. Are we sure he wasn't on drugs????

I've had vertigo and it SUUUUCKS!!! I was literally in bed for a week and couldn't even think about walking around - i had to keep my eyes shut the whole entire time or i would actually get physically sick, i couldn't get up to go to the doctor's office it was so bad. I had to take a meclazine - a prescription form of dramamine. it was TERRIBLE!! Poor Meaty!
I suffer from chronic stress-related vertigo. It sucks. IF that's what these folks have-

I had vertigo over a year. Sucks up the ass and it's not just getting dizzy. Stress makes it worse or seems to bring it on. Meat loaf has a different type of vertigo than I had there's a few.

I had Verigo in college. It was so serious I had to take an entire semester off. I had motion sickness b/c my body balance was so off. Vertigo is a viral infection of the inner ear. I couldn't keep food town. I would walk into corners and fall b/c my vision was so screwed up from it. I was bruised head to toe and it took min. 4 months to recover

My Aunt Lucille has Vertigo. She has to smoke pot every day about three to five times to make her head stop spinning and be able to walk without spinning in circles and puking all over herself. Explosive diarrhea is also a side effect of chronic vertigo.
