OK, so let's just apply the rule to teenagers in school, and give the phrase back to the generation who started it! OK? Good, now that that is settled… you're so gay.

I am gay and I say thing's are gay, it is not an insult to gay people, it has an entire different meaning which is "stupid". It can also mean happy and joyful. Plus, saying gay is like sooo 2001

    5. 105

      I LOVE YOU HILARY DUFF!!!!!!!!!

FUCK you Jackie Kay! You are what is wrong with progression. It is people like you that keep a HUGE group of people from being accepted the same as you. It is great to see celebs like her and brad pitt, supporting gay's. this kind of positive energy is really needed in a time when people like you are keeping so many suppressed.

    10. 110

well then gays need to make up a consensus, cos i have plenty of homosexual friends and they don't care. i say that's gay and they say that's gay. actually, i haven't met a gay that cares that much. it's a figure of speech, it's not literally saying being gay is bad.

      whatever.

    11. 111

      asinine

    12. 112

There's a difference between Katy Perry's song "Ur so Gay"
      and saying "That's so gay"
If you listened to the song,
she's referring to the fact that he's WAY more girly than her.

    13. 113

      Hilary is wonderful…class….beautiful….

    14. 114

I didn't like Hilary Duff for a long time because I didn't like her work. But now, my opinion has changed and it's all because of this.

    15. 115

YAY Hilry Duff said something amazingly smart! YAY ILH!

    16. 116

i'm gay, and when people say this.. it doesn't offend me.. but hilduff has a good point. KNOCK IT OFF

    17. 117

I'm glad SOMEBODY finally said this. I hate that expression. If this stops even one person from using it, that's great!

    24. 124

that was so beyond lame it hurts..

    25. 125

WOO HOO! Go Hil! My chemistry teacher from last year–who happened to be a lesbian–also taught us not to use "gay" like that. I love that she's still grown up to be a beautiful, classy young woman!

Who got the last laugh now, LezLo???

    26. J1025 says – reply to this

      126

How come nobody complains when a GAY man uses the word "bitch"? That's insulting towards women but they still use it. If they can use "bitch" I can use "gay."

    27. 127

      go hilary duff!!!

    28. 128

Re: ShakiraLuver – You got it! Thats exactly what Im saying. If Im ignorant then so are most of the american population including gays. Im entitled to what I want to say and if people feel compelled to be offended by it when its not even directed towards them, go for it.

    29. 129

Re: HOLLA525 – you're positivity is reciprocating through your wonderful beginning of "fuck you." When I say Im not putting gay rights above my rights, it means there is no difference between them and people should stop treating them like there is one. Meaning Im not giving up my freedom of speach for them, and I wouldnt ask the same of them. Im a very accepting person as well as open-minded. I stick by what I say without trashing others on their comments or opinions and that makes what I say valid. So you can name call and curse all you want but I have not met one gay person, and I know plenty, that is offended by using gay as a negative connotation towards something they dislike because they do it all the time.

    30. 130

ya uh I'm gay and I say "that's gay" all the time. Grow up

    31. 131

      SO GAYYYYYYYYYYY

    32. 132

      Re: negrita
What's wrong with your straight ass?!
It's wrong to use gay for something that's bad.
How bout we say "straight" for something that's bad.
      Same difference right?!
