Recently arrested celebspawn Redmond O'Neal admitted to an LA Superior Court Judge on Wednesday that he's had a drug relapse.
At the time of his arrest, Red was on three years probation for drug possession and a DUI.
He has been ordered by the court to enter into a two-week treatment program.
Red was totally restating the obvious and he only has to go for two weeks?????? You're not gonna quit crack or meth or whatever junk he's on in TWO WEEKS!
The judge told the ginger boy, "You're a stand-up guy to come here and deal with your problem. I want you to stay clean. … You better stay clean or the hammer is going to fall."
You hear that????

Perez I dont think you understand how hard it is to get someone into rehab. A lot of people are confused by how long a stint in rehab is; most think the worse the addiction the longer the stay. Unfortunatly with todays insurance policies, and other commitments it is hard for everyone to agree on a stint in rehab and its length. Please do the research before you say ignorant comments. I love you but I had to speak out on such a subject as this. Oh and leave Miley alone. Jealous much?

two weeks? seriously? that is definitly not enough time to heal and get better….especially from crack! I went to school to be an addictions councellor, and honestly he should be in detox alone for a week! so another week to solve all of lifes problems doesnt really seem to cut it! and crack is one of the most hardest drugs someone can try and quit……you want to stay positive, but really, you dont heal in two weeks, its just not realisitc!

2 weeks is way too short for treatment. I'm sure his family can afford to send him to a more intense rehab program. Otherwise, the cycle will just start all over again.

WOW the judge obviously knows absolutly NOTHING about addiction & recovery. For the best change to overcome an addiction to hardcore drugs such as heroin/other opiates, meth, crack, or coke; addicts should spend 6-12 months in an inpatient rehab facility && go to NA or AA meetings every day!!! Addiction is a powerfull disease that cant be beaten in just 2 weeks. 2wks in rehab is a waste of time, you cant even begin to recover in that short amount of time, your brain will still be affected by the drugs & @ that point he will be finishing detox && will STILL be having intense horrible cravings to use, cravings so strong that they will stop him in his tracks & ruin his entire day unless he uses or stays in rehab long enough to learn how to cope/get thru it/stop the cravings/recover. He needs to be under the care of a Dr. that deals w/ addiction, He needs to be taking pills that reduce/eliminate cravings to use drugs, going to NA/AA meetings daily, & in INPATIENT rehab wayyyyyyy longer than that.

WTF is that "Judge" thinking? I know they are supposed to have latitude to make decisions, but really….
Judge needs to be sent up the river for ordering 2 weeks in rehab. Judge needs to do his drug addiction research stat! He must be a head up his ass republican.
He's on probation for drugs and he got arrested…for drugs. If he wasn't a celeb he would have been thrown in jail immediately. sad. He'll be dead within a year.
