Round #2: Barack Obama vs. John McCain
Congrats, boys!
According to preliminary reports, the second debate between Barack Obama and John McCain on Tuesday was up 21% from their first face-off.
If the numbers hold up after the rest of the numbers come in, Tuesday's debate will stand as the highest-rated presidential debate since 1992.
However, Barack and John weren't able to beat Sexy Sarah and Joe from Scranton's debate ratings. The Veep debate scored three ratings points higher!
And, according to people surveyed by CBS, NBC, CNN and get this, Fox, after the debate, Barack Obama won round #2.
Round #3 is scheduled for October 15th.

My favorite part of the debate.. I think this will be memorable.”McCain says there are many things I don’t understand "There are some things I don't understand,. I don't understand how we ended up invading a country that had nothing to do with 9-11, while Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda are setting up base camps and safe havens to train terrorists to attack us." I fall off my chair laughing my ass off, and usual McCain could not put together a fair answer to that.

When even the Fox News interviewees concede that Obama won the debate, you know it must be true! I hope these sentiments last - America does not need an angry, impetuous old man in the White House come January!

Hi, my name is Barack Obama and I hate America. I want to tax you all to death and give money and kickbacks to people who don't really want to work and get ahead. I am a Marxist, and we will all be better off if we all have the same.
The choice is quite easy:
McCain: Tax cuts for the wealthy and big corporations and none for those making less than $100,000 a year. (and yet he says he is for 'main street')
Obama: Tax cuts for the majority of working Americans, modest increases for those earning $200,000 or more a year (less than they were under Clintons tax plan)
McCain: Wants to drill for more oil, and build nuclear plants (even though we would not see any output from them for 7-10 years)
Obama: Faster shift towards alternative energy sources and better utilization of existing resources.
McCain: a D- student with a navy background that was dismal in both character and quality (read his book!)
Obama: a Harvard Law school graduate, magna cum laude, and a constitutional law expert
McCain: Military shoot first ask questions later foreign policy stance
Obama: Diplomacy and dialog with military as option of last resort
McCain: Vast majority of introduced bills in Senate are directly related to the military.
Obama: Introduced bills for equal rights, environment, housing, health care, alternative and renewable fuels, safer drugs, constitutional rights, improved fuel economy and other issues relating to a better America and helping Americans.
Looking at the issues and what they would mean to our country, you would have to be as dumb as Bush to not vote for Obama.

McCain tries to steal Warren Buffet for his Treasury Secratary, but future President Obama reminds him Buffet is an Obama supporter. I wouldn't say there was a clear winner in either debate. This one was very much like the first, same questions, same answers, different format.
Just think how good the ratings would be if they promised to reveal who has the bigger dick!

THANK YOU!!!! Yes, anyone can look up Obama's connection to the housing crisis. Bush can take a bashing for a lot of things but this housing situation is not one. This all started with Clinton and the effects are just now coming to the top. Obama sat back and benefitted from Freddie and Fannie. There's a video on YouTube where Mr. Mudd was praising Obama in from of the Congressional Black Caucus and said Obama and the Dems were "family" to the Freddie and Frannie empire. You all just choose to believe Obama is perfect when the fact is the dude is a great deceiver.

I'm sick and tired of Michelle Obama saying the people with more money should do the "fair" thing and pay more so that government can give to those less fortunate. Yeah, sure. I'm all for the government helping people who cannot genuinely help themselves but WHY should I work my ass off and be taxed or pay more business taxes just so some other person can stay home all day and do nothing when they are ableled bodied! How is it fair that my Dad has worked since he was 15 and grew a business and so now he should do the "fair" thing and pay for some 30-something guy to sit on his front porch drinking beer all day while my Dad goes off to work. Screw fair, work hard and be responsible for you own damn self. I understand some people can't take care of themselves for various reason but those are the people who never get the government aid, it all goes to those who find a way to crook the system. So screw Obama and his "it's only fair and patriotic to pay more taxes" yeah, once again a Dem playing class warfare just to win and if history repeats itself then it will be another Dem promising a handout that never comes to those who really need it.
