T.R. Knight Lends His Voice and His Paycheck!

Joining a host of other celebrities determined to strike down Prop 8, Grey Anatomy's T. R. Knight has donated $50,000 to the campaign to keep marriage for everyone in California.
His donation comes after polling anxiety caused Equality California to call an emergency meeting. The hefty donation is also in response to Ohio entrepreneur Jonathan Lewis' challenge to LA's entertainment industry to raise $500,000 for No On Prop. 8. He and his family will match every donation henceforth, dollar for dollar.
And LA has responded with gusto, with Fall Out Boy chipping in $50,000, Angels in America writer Tony Kushner throwing down $15,000, and E! talk-show host Chelsea Handler adding $5,000.
It's a good show but there's still a little ways to go and the election is coming up fast!
The California deadline to register to vote is OCTOBER 20TH, so get a move on!!!

He's wasting his money. Prop 8 will pass overwhelmingly. Gays will still be able to love who ever they want in bath houses, bars, bushes, toilet stalls, or if they are responsible –which there are many responsible gays out there because I know them — in the privacy of their own home. gays will still have domestic partnership rights. Being gay will not be deemed illegal. No police offer will arrest someone who is gay because prop 8 passes. Prop 8 doesn't impede in a gay's person to love or his right to love who he wants. He just won't be able to get a piece of paper saying they are married. So rejoice!

Just as an individual's sexual orientation is not a legitimate basis
on which to deny housing or a job, it is not a legitimate basis on
which to deny individuals the right to marry. Californians should
reject the call to amend the state constitution to exclude some people
