I had the pleasure of seeing it opening night and I can tell you that it's AMAZING!!!!!
The cast is sure to wow you and Broadway will embrace this show with open arms! I know it.
*sigh* I wanna see this SO bad! I wanna see my favorite Galinda/Elphie team in something different. Too bad I'm broke
Is it just me or does that chick at the 11 second mark look just like Ellen dancing???
Love Dolly
just love her
9 t0 5 was a good 80's movie,but I would never want to see a Broadway production of it.lol
Looks corny and lame, like all musicals do.
OMG what a great show. Saw it last week and totally loved it!!!Allision Sweeny makes the show
Re: fairytalesofyesterday – I feel your pain. I love Megan and Stephanie.
this show is amazing!!! i went the day after opening night and it was phenominal!! megan hilty was dolly down to the last detail, Stephanie J block was amazing, as usual (i would kill for her voice), and, of course, allison janny was a comedic genious. The whole show is great and i hope you have a fun time seeing it, perez!!
P.S. i see some Tony nominations in this cast's future!!
OMG… Dolly Rocks!… corny to some but hella cool to me.
As long as she doesn't talk politics, I think she's great. Unfortunately, she looks a lot like the Joker now- she has cut her face to resemble a mask with a wide slash of a mouth. Dolly Parton used to be, well, adorable is a good word for it. But now she is so creepy and it is so sad to see what she has done. WHY do women do that to their faces? Mary Tyler Moore is another one. I can't watch her on TV without wincing. Their faces look painful. All that talent, and they are still too insecure to just be who they are. If you have never seen the ORIGINAL Dolly Parton face, you should go look it up.
It's not a great show, not even a good one.
saw it 2 weeks ago - and saw Bruce Villanche there. It was good… not the best i've seen, but entertaining
It's really great! I saw it opening weekend!
I've seen it 3 times, and it it a really entertaining show. Not cheesy at all! The songs are really good, and I think it's going to be a big hit when it reaches Broadway in March. The audiences here have loved it, and Los Angeles isn't exactly a country music town. Dolly did her homework: the music moves the plot forward and tells the story, the 3 leads are really great, and Allison Janney has great comic timing. They took the film and made it better, what more could you want? See you on closing nite, Perez!!
oh, and I saw Reba McIntire there last week… she couldn't have been nicer!
i wonder if dolly was aware of the dollypop exhibit , artists that dedicated their artwork to her
