Janet Cancels AGAIN! We Knew It!!!!!

At this point, she might as well just cancel her whole tour!
Janet Jackson has JUST pulled out of what was scheduled to be her next show on the ill-plagued Rock Witchu tour.
The show for Saturday night at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut is OFF. It will presumably be "rescheduled."
No official explanation has been given.
Just Thursday, Jackson released a statement saying that she had been "under her doctor’s care and recuperating over the last week" and was "excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever."
Well, that excitement must not have lasted very long - just one day later, Janet cancelled!
Normally, we believe people are entitled to their privacy when it comes to their health, but when you are fucking with people's hard earned money and treating poorly your few remaining fans, you OWE them an explanation.

I checked on Ticketmaster and you can get Section 6 on the floor at Madison Square Garden. Janet's last few albums haven't been all that great, but DAMN, that is crazy, what happened to her career?

It has been stated that she is ill and is recuperating. She does not need to tell the world what is wrong with her, it is her right to keep that private. If she says people will be reimbursed or will get to go to a rescheduled then what is the problem?
My aunt has terminal cancer and has been a Janet fan forever. She's never been to a concert and my mother, me and her other sister decided that she should go to the Janet show. Mind you my aunt is DYING from cervical cancer and she has been looking forward to this for a while! We have tickets to the Oct 17th show and booked a hotel room and everything. Everyday now I have to update my Mom on when Janet cancels. There is no rescheduling this for my aunt. She might not be well enough in the future to go to the rescheduled show. SO I WOULD FUCKIN APPERCAITE IT IF JANET WOULD STOP FUCKING AROUND AND JUST LET US KNOW IF WE WILL HAVE A SHOW TO GO TO OR NOT!!! $200 a ticket and this is what we get? Uncertainity???? This isn't just another show to me and my family. This is a big deal. LET US KNOW SOMETHING JANET!!!!

I agree - can't the people who bought her tickets get their money back? Don't the promotors just refund the money? Maybe she's just on a crash diet and in hiding (again) until she loses the fat. Or else she is trying sick, then she needs to give the fans their money back. 100 bucks says it won't be rescheduled and this tour is done.

I think Janet needs to realize that by canceling her shows at the last minute like this she's really screwing with people's lives, and for some it's more than just a "little inconvenience". Janet is human like everybody else as she is ill, she is entitled to cancel dates of her tour… Her true fans understand and wish to see in good health, not working herself to the ground as her shows are very demanding… Nobody can put on a live show like Janet there are many imitators, but no one has suceeded in doing what Jan does on stage… Haters must find Janet of some relevance to keeps visiting her page… Why the comparasions with Madonna and Janet I have respect for both of them as artists and they should be left to do their own thing….

I do not think Janet would cancel her shows unless there is a good reason… It is Janet's right to have her own privacy, on what ever may be going on as a true fan I do not care when I get to see her as long as she is ok….
Poor Janet. Her career is such a mess now. I hope there's nothing wrong with her and I'm a huge fan of her work, but I wouldn't take a chance on buying tickets to this show. I wasn't going in the first place, but I definately wouldn't now.
Janet is the hardest working woman in the business, I've witnessed her rehearsals, trust!!! She is human and can get sick and especially when you work yourself so hard as she does, the body's immune system weakens making one prone to viruses and the like.
I'm very excited to see her perform live and at the same time, I have compassion and empathy and I just hope she gets better. She has a right to her privacy as far as her medical history goes, her whole life is an open book, can't she have at least ONE secret to herself sheesh?! To all the mean people who are saying mean things about Janet and other celebs for that matter, you are only letting everyone know how insecure YOU are. People who put others down to bring themselves up are troubled individuals and I pity them. Perhaps they didn't get enough love as a child or are going through tough times. Whatever it is, it's not nice to throw that negative energy out into the universe, it will come right back to you, it's the Universal Law!
