personally i think that sucks, Cosmogirl was like the magazine that pulled me through high school, i always bought a Cosmogirl every single month and always looked forward to reading it, and now i read Cosmopolitan, i can't believe the magazine that speaks for a generation of young girls and some boys is gone… =(

5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
6) As I write, THE DOW is probing another low~~
$2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED (or Vanished entirely) FROM THEIR STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS!
YES, IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE…AND WE SURE GOT IT!

The magazine is folding because of poor ad revenue sales. Partially because of our shiteous economy and partially because people are reading everything online. Thats why the cosmogirl.com website will still be running.
But CosmoGirl has NEVER included the sexual content of Cosmopolitan - its about real girls and leadership. When I was a teen, everyone read it. Now that 12 year olds are having sex because of poor parenting and poor celebrity role models, they don't care about whats in magazines like CG.
And there goes the industry. Careful Teen Vogue and Seventeen - you're next.
