Ok, we doubt this is true, but it'd be WAY hot if it were!

Reports are that Disney hottie Zac Efron has been approached to take over Daniel Radcliffe's role in the controversial Broadway play Equus.

Somehow, we don't think Zefron has what it takes to play the part.

Or does he?

Apparently, though, he's been offered the role. Whether he takes it is a different story!

During the premiere of High School Musical 3 in London, Zacquisha said, "You know that Daniel Radcliffe role on Broadway, well it's been mentioned.”

That, or he just mentioned it himself to get the role.

Smart boy!

Maybe Zac is just trying to shed his wholesome, Disney image?

He just finished filming the period drama Me and Orson Welles along with hasbeen Claire Danes.

But, it looks like Efron has hopes for bigger things. He truly wants to be a super star.

Says Zacquisha, "I would love to just sit down and talk with Leonardo DeCaprio and Johnny Depp and pick their brains about their early careers. They do it because they love it, not because they enjoy being famous. You have to have good foresight and be really careful. If you don't adapt and learn at a very young age, you can really mess up."

Leo's gone naked for a role before. You should do it too Zac!!!

      i worked on "17 again" and Zac is absolutely trying to getaway from the Disney-fied version of himself. 17 Again will be a PG-13 movie for sure. It is not surprised Disney insisted HSM3 come out BEFORE "17 Again"…when originally 17 again was planned to come out before HSM3. Even on set Zac was defiantly not acting like a Disney boy. lol. NOT acting up, but not always G-rated.
