Emmy and Oscar-winning funny lady Cloris Leachman has been selected to be the grand marshal for the 2009 Rose Parade.
According to reports, the Dancing with the Stars gal said she's thrilled to be grand marshal of a parade that—in her words—"is older than I am."
Cloris is a very young 82-years old.

Chloris Leachman is a television icon! It's great that a new generation of viewers get to see her talent every week…wouldn't it be nice to see her in a project with Mary Tyler Moore, Betty White, Georgia Engel, Valerie Harper, Gavin MacLeod and Ed Asner (apart from their recent Oprah show visit)?

I'm impressed! How many 82-year old people do you know can do what this lady does? Most of you fat-assed 20 and 30-somethings will not live to HALF her age so take a HINT and lay off the double fraps and big macs and MAYBE you'll make it halfway to where SHE is!
