John McCain is taking a page out of the Hollywood TV playbook!
When your ratings are slipping, schedule a stunt to give 'em a jolt!
Well, looks like Senator McCain is doing just that.
He's scheduled to appear on the David Letterman show on Thursday to likely plead mea culpa for dissing Dave a few weeks ago to 'save' the economy for Katie Couric.
Set your DVR's y'all!
We bet there'll be lots of funny stuff!

Letterman is a prick who won't legitimate his ONLY child. (well, who ELSE would sleep with him other than that one poor woman - so there is only one illegitimate child). I though McCain was making the right decision when he cancelled. Why should ANY presidential candidate jump through a hoop for a sarcastic asshole like Letterman. Cher actually was right when she called Letterman an asshole. Oprah, before she got afraid of his mouth, also refused to go on his show. How that guy has one viewer out there, I don't know.

I don't see anything funny in this. It's just another political ploy. Hey, McCain had been warned many times to cut the mudslingging and get to the issues, he did not. So what happened? He has caused hatred. So what happens with erratic Mcain when he does not listen to advisors in Presidency? It is scary to think what he would cause and not be able to clean up. Letterman, I hope you cancel him, if not, I will never watch you again.

It would be totally hilarious if Letterman went AWOL for JUST the McCain segment. Interview his first guest, go to commercial break, come back with a stand-in interviewer for Johnny Boy. Or better yet: let McCain sit there and stare at Dave's empty chair for 15 minutes.

McCain's "leadership" through the econ crisis has been erratic. One day "econ is fundamentally sound", the next day a desaster. One day he's against bailout, next for, than the campaign suspension STUNT BS. He's erratic & rash & ill tempered. Being a POW doesn't make a President. McCain graduated at bottom of his class. Obama was cool, calm, reassuring, he is Harvard Magna cum laude, Law review President. Letterman was pissed!
Desperate! I don't understand why McCain wants to be president so badly. He's already lost once. I truly believe this is some fear of death crisis he's going through and he is being selfish not thinking about what direction the country is going. For christ sake he lived through the KKK and even associated with it's members (USCWF) that's worse! He's way out of touch with today's society. He's not gonna be here in 15 years, how can he make decisions for the country?? You guys should read the article about him in the new Rolling Stone. Sheds some light on who he really is. How sad when our actual politicians have to kowtow to vapid talk show hosts like David Letterman. These are the people running our country not acting in our movies.

Here's a fact for you — there are 300 million people in the US. Approx. 5 million are on welfare. That works out to be .016 percent — that is NOT the major drain on this economy.

Where there IS a meeting of the parties would be on illegal immigration - I'm totally against it — that group is 20 million - that should be brought into focus. But your fears about a dime of your money going to welfare? Well, you should be a WHOLE lot more concerned about the cost of this er, um, "questionable" war.
