For the second week in a row, Beverly Hills Chihuahua was the #1 movie at the U.S. box office.
Disney's cute doggies brought in another $17.5 million. Its 10-day total is at $52 million!
Hot dog!
During these crappy times, guess there's nothing like an adorable Disney movie to make you feel warm and fuzzy for a few hours.
Newcomer thriller flick Quarantine nabbed the #2 spot with $14.2 million in ticket sales.
And, to round out the top three, Leo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe's CIA drama Body of Lies debuted to a less than impressive $13.1 million.
Why didn't these big boys draw in bigger crowds?
Well, a suit said, "Body of Lies may have dealt with too sober a topic after all the disastrous financial news."
Is that a good enough answer?

ugh. Nick and Norah… was terrible. It's not the say anything of anything. It's so poorly written. The only thing making it not a complete waste of anyone's time is Michael Cera doing what Michael Cera does.

I hate movies like these, after dog movies everyone goes out and gets the breed shown in the movie, now it will be chihuahuas, they are small and fragile and most people wont have the time to train them that it takes, I have three very old chihuahuas and they were all abandoned and mistreated in their early lives by very mean humans, the shelters and streets will be full of abandoned and neglected chihuahuas now, just like after the dalmation movies…I wish Shittywood would wise up and stop this fuckin nonsense, and shame on you PEErez for talking it up, the way you love Teddy..by the way I have a Teddy too, one would think you would not be so fond of these movies..I dread seeing all the mistreated little ones, go ahead and search shelters about six months after this movies release. all the little brats will be wanting chichis for christmas and then cast them aside..people are very predictable. this burns me up

Ok, how racist is this… I'm in the process of watching The View. For all you Joy lovers out there; she just made the following comment: "My hair was so kinky, very non-caucasian like. I had to go into the black neighborhood to get my hair products, but I was so scared! You don't understand, back then, there was this mythology about black people. They were just way more scary.
