Travis Barker took his MySpace page on Saturday to thank everyone who's been there for him during his recovery from the burn injuries he sustained in that tragic September plane crash that left four dead.
He's also uploaded hospital photos and an update about his medical treatment:
I want to give my deepest thanks to everyone who has helped deal with the current situation. First and foremost, Chris and Che were my friends. I would give up anything to have them here with us today, healthy and happy. To call them my employees does them such a disservice, as they were so much more than that. Chris was my best friend before anything else, and I can never put into words how much he will be missed. Che was an amazing person as well, and I was honored to have him in my life.
I am simply amazed and will be forever grateful for all the support everyone has shown to Chris and Che's families.
Its a testament to how many lives they touched in a positive way.
Hospital Life!
Like the doctors said from the beginning, its been a slow recovery process. I am coming up on the 7th of my surgeries Monday. Today I finally was able to move all my fingers on my right hand. Every step seems huge at this point, and Im doing EVERYTHING I can possibly do to get back to my kids. Yes, I did start eating meat again, but if it helps me to be home holding my little humans sooner, then its all worth it. The staff here are all bomb! Dr. Grossman and his staff are the best. The BOSS Barbara, and nurses Betty, Jay , Emily, Julio, Lolita, and Stephanie (with the best scrubs ever!) are all taking the best care of me…

The first thing I noticed when I read the blog earlier on his myspace was he mentioned Shanna. Now, that part of the post is gone. He said his EX-wife Shanna, "who I haven't seen since my first week here". He is such an inspiration, I would hate to think she is doing anything to aggravate him or make his recovery more difficult!
I LOVE HOW HE ATTACK SHANNA.. lol
Why didn't he mention Shanna? Despite what they have been though, She is the mother of his children and thats something that can't be change.

I had always thought this guy was a real dirtbag, just based on his appearance.
After hearing him interviewed & reading more about him, I have to admit I was wrong. He seems kind, positive & like a truly nice person.

I was cooking breakfast this morning when the phone rang.By the time I got back my link sausages had burned to a crisp.I laughed so hard because it made me think of Travis barker…
GET WELL SOON MY BROTHER!! WE ALL MISS YOU AND ADAM ON THE ROAD..
Shanna, MOVE ON!!! I know she would do anything to put her family back together, but he will never commit to her 100%, this proves it. If going through this does not bring him to his senses, nothing will. It will never work! He has too many extras in his life, he doesn't have room for a wife. I hope she can find happiness without him, and soon. How many times can he break her heart.
P.S. Shanna, find a man who can accept all 3 of your kids and love them all as one family. Travis does not even acknowledge her first daughter who he has obviously known for as long as he has been off/on again with Shanna. There is something seriously wrong with that. You could see it on the show too, he was nutso about his son and ignored that poor girl. Really, forget it.

shana defenders — i think there is a reason he's saying he hasn't seen her since the week of the accident (can you say attn whore??) — how can you defend a woman who acts like she's on the jerry springer show every time she feels threatened/is jealous of another woman? whatever - more importantly, this man is blessed - hope you get to see your kids soon, travis!

Wow, he was injured a lot more than I thought, and to his dominant arm (writing and playing). Good to read he's on the mend although it will take a long time. Best of luck to him!

I'm happy hat he's okay but this is horrible and cruel to the MOTHER of his own children! Keep your shit private man. How sad that your kids will have to listen to kids at school teasing them about Dad hating Mom. Grow up and be a man.
And the truth of the matter is, she would be with him if HE didn't treat her like shit at the hospital! She was RIGHT THERE for him when it happened. And yeah, she rightfully questioned the care he was getting. You don't know the whole story.
She's a good person and a damn good mother, and this is CRUSHING her.

I read the earlier post about the lack of Shanna's presence since the 1st week too….all I can say is I WAS NOT surprised…I had a bad feeling that she would pull some shit….All these people kept saying "You & Shanna belong together"…and I just KNEW that was crap!!! In my opinion, he's better off w/out that bimbo…and she's nothing w/out him. He doesn't need fake bitches like her in his life. Hey, Travis…I'll be your nurse maid, soul mate…anytime!!

Just wanna say im happy Travis is healing quickly. I know his kids are his everything all three …yes he treats and loves Atiana like his own. As for Shanna dont know the story between them but none of us do so we dont have the right to judge. There connected for life and despite what what one might say or might not say about each other you can tell that deep down its all love them two. Shanna girl i know your busy with the pageant and stressed out and just all over the place but Travis just freakin went thru tragedy and he needs you!!
