The police were called and a bloodied pap was wheeled off to the emergency room in an ambulance.

Tobey has some options–hire a bodyguard, or move to a city where paps wont follow. That paparrazzi SO did NOT need an ambulance. They just did that so they have a case to sue someone. That's why they get in people's faces, so they can make them mad enough to fight. Then there is an "incident" they can take pictures of. More money. I hate the paps, especially when they are messing with people and their kids. Those paps are WAY out of line. They got some shots, from a distance at the pumpkin patch. Why couldn't they leave it at that? They had to follow and get in people's faces? And they aren't quiet. They are always shouting, and asking questions and pushing and shoving so it is impossible to ignore them. When they harrass and invade people's space and mess with families with small children, they deserve an ass-kicking. And the film on YouTube was obviously editted. We have no idea what really happened, do we? That pap could have stumbled over his own feet in the swarm. The YouTube video was editted to favor the paparrazzi. How lame.
That dude was totally working it after getting hit…just letting the blood trickle and trying to look all hurt. I think I had the same look on my face when I tried faking sick to get out of school in the 5th grade. If paps were that aggressive around my child, I'd rip their throat out and worry about consequences when my child was safe.

1st there was a little kid there and i think it should be illegal to take pics or video of a kid without parent's permission… 2nd was it me not payin attention or was there a gap in the video between when the girl is fighting with him and when he has blood? and 3rd he was so faking it.. he wouldn't clean up the blood so that it would look like it is still an open wound… psss i had more blood when i hit myself in the playground as a kid… he just wanted to be taken in the video with the blood so that he will get the video/ make tobey look like the bad guy

I can't even imagine having strangers bust up a private family thing. he is lucky he only has a bloody face. if your "job" is to always butt in on people's private lives, you ARE pushing people to the point of protection. it is natural.
Tobey has been losing control of his shit lately and the way he acts probably scares his daughter a lot more than the paps do.
Children are very resilient. If they grow up with having their picture taken, they will adjust to it (see Suri Cruise and Violet Affleck). Is it right? Probably not - but it is what it is. Tobey needs to grow up and deal with it. He chose the lifestyle and the money and by extension, the wanted (and sometimes unwanted) attention - both for himself AND for his family.
Having her father freak out constantly is a lot more damaging and stressful to a little girl than having her picture taken. Smile, be gracious (like T. Cruise) and go about your life. And if you REALLY can't stand it, leave the money behind and get out of the biz.

uh what fight…all i see is a pretty one sided video of a happy mom dad kid day, then the family on the street, then mom yelling and pushing a pap, and some bloody dude on the steps. since this video is so edited he prob did something to deserve the beat down he got, like scare their kid or even worse knock into her (boy / girl - i dont know). no sadness for any pap who gets f'd up imo. i've watched cops push them out of the street as buses and traffic go by to prevent accidents. coops whose time would be better spent stopping real crime not watching the ass of those ignorant and disrespectful paps…just because someone is a celeb does not mean they deserve / signed on for attention 24/7…always remember the paps led to lady di's death. not a drunk driver. the paps chasing them was the real cause.

like i said we dont see the whole vid here, so we have no idea what led to the fight…what if the pap was trying to get a close up and knocked his daughter to the ground. how would you react if it was your child? and most kids i know get scared in screaming loud crowds, and can sense their parents anxiety also..

I love how people that don't have kids don't get it. Taking my kids to the pumpkin patch is one of the best things we do each year. They love it! He's just trying to give his child some normal experiences. Kids that grow up in the spot light being catered to and not experiencing anything on their own end up like Paris. I hope that guy have a big fat scar. Only a POS would ruin that day for a family.

Poor, poor paparazzi…stick your camera in someone's face, scare their children, then boo-hoo when you get busted upside the head. People have a right to their own personal space, and when you invade that space, you should accept the risks involved. People keep saying that since they're celebrities, they have no right to complain about the paparazzi…well, it's one thing to stand a respectable distance away and snap some pictures of the celebs in the pumpkin patch. It's quite another to chase after them, shoving cameras in their faces and practically following them into their house. As for his "horrible" injury…PLEASE! That little bitty cut did NOT require an ambulance. What a horrible waste of time, resources and money. I hope the laws get tougher and tougher on this type of antagonizing behavior exhibited by these photographers. (By the way, if you have never SEEN how these paparazzi bait, goad and yell at these celebrities, you have NO idea what's really going on. I see a lot of comments on here about how the paparazzi should leave these parents alone and how sick they are for taking pics of these celebs' children. But the fact of the matter is that it is the responsibility of the parents to protect their children. I don't live in LA, but I'm assuming there must be a ton of other pumpkin patches that these people could have taken their children to for a visit. Why this one? You can't go to the Beverly Hills pumpkin patch and then get angry that there are a lot of photogs taking your kids' picture. It doesn't work that way. If they are really as smart as they would all like to claim, and if they really had their childrens' interests at heart, then they would find another place to go. I never see images of Julia Roberts's children or Uma Thurman's kids or many other celebs' kids, and that's because they choose not to expose their children to that aspect of their career. These people can pick fights all they want, and scream and protest all they want, but it was their CHOICE to take their kids to this place. And anything else is, frankly, giving them too much credit.

Why bash on the Paps? Someone had to tell them those celebs were there. They weren't just hanging aroung a pumpkin patch. Get real. Celebs want the attention. I remember when Angelina first brought Zahara, she was in a mall looking through magazines while she was surrounded by photogs…so give me a freaking break. It's all about selling their products and themselves. When they are selling they don't complain .
I do think that the celebs should have had some idea of what they were getting into when they started working in the business but I'm sure it gets tiring when you're out with your kids and the paps won't leave you alone. Plus, a lot of the time, the paparazzi will say stupid/mean/ignorant shit just to get the actors riled up. Should they have better self control? Maybe but I can't imagine it's easy to deal with that stuff day in and day out. They shouldn't have to hire people to do their errands and hole themselves up.
