Folks do not be fooled by Hussein Obama. His so called Tax Cut plan is nothing more than a tax increase for anyone who earns 42K or more a year. Also he is cutting taxes for people who already don't pay taxes which obviously makes no sense. Vote McCain/Palin and yes on Prop 8.
I think that was pretty amazing. So please Californians make it fair. No matter your religious beliefs don't put them on others. That is what makes American great is that you can believe something and we will respect you, so please respect others and vote NO on Prop 8.
Re: Mrs.Pattinson – Re: ArmPitt&trade!!!SEMICOLON!!! – are you both kidding? that armpitt looks nasty and stank. have you heard of trimming so you don't have a forest? in case you don't know, trim your bush too. razors are your friend.
Re: njpaul0129 – lol fuck you had enough of you repulsive fanatics right wing drones for today. get the fuck off a gay site if you have so much hate for gays.
Re: njpaul0129 – do you even live in CA dick sucker? how does gay people getting married affect you? live and let live which means don't make an effort to make things worse for someone else. you are not a good person.
I like Ellen and her down-to-earth ways. She goes about her life without getting in anyone's face, yet she lets her opinions be known in a calm, rational way. I have so much respect for her. What a huge difference from Rosie, who's just a nasty, hateful, angry dike.
Why are you talking about tax cut on a blog about Prop 8?? Your off it for sure…this is why people don't take conservatives seriously….always against equality for all and talking about issues that have NOTHING to do with the topic at hand….
Do not be fooled. Ellen is a really big b****, my friend works at the house next door and Ellen yelled at her children to be quite at 2pm in the afternoon when they were taking soccer lessons!!!
Re: erhg74 – Thats the thing, you know why these ultra conservative nut jobs are so 'homophobic' right? CLOSET GAYS! They worship Larry Craig and dream about sucking peen, they're just too closeted and mind fucked to act on their fantasies. This makes them so angry and frustrated that they go around attacking the group they wish they had the balls to be a part of, because if they can't be gay, NO ONE WILL! Why else would they read a gay gossip blog when there are plenty of straight ones out there? I think njpaul0129 and The Warden should just hook up, suck eachothers dicks and get it over with, the comment section would be so much nicer if they did. Don't be ashamed guys, you're here, you're queer, get used to it!!
Somehow the people campaigning to say yes for Prop 8 got my cellphone number and called me this morning. Luckily I didn't pick up… they left a voice mail. I promptly deleted it. I am voting no on Prop 8. Equality for all! I think it's twisted for them to claim that all these horrible things are going to happen. Getting married is about love and commitment, not about gender or sexual persuasions. And people who say that it's because they are using the word marriage which is religious in nature… then saying yes on 8 is also saying yes we should also refuse people who are not married in a church or under a religion.
Re: wanna milk me?? – I don't understand how you can support animal rights (prop 2) but not human rights (prop . I'll be voting YES on prop 2 and NO on prop 8, and I encourage all other CA voters to do the same.
Re: embo – I was going to write a very similar response to the Warden and his bf. If you hate gays so much, why are you on a site that is run by a gay man? I'm proud of being a Canadian, where, anyone can marry regardless of sexual orientation.
Its not about fairness… fairness was already achieved when courts granted homosexual partners ALL of the same rights as a straight couple.
The only thing that is being DEMANDED is the word "MARRIAGE." MARRIAGE by definition for thousands and thousands of years has been between a MAN and a WOMAN. This argument of "fairness" does not hold because of the fact that the real reason is that the homosexual community just wants the word "Marriage" to make them feel socially accepted.
Has anyone looked at the married couple's point of view?
Did the homosexual community bother to ask the married community if they would mind that their definition be changed? What right does ANYONE have to change the definition of marriage just because of their need for one word to make them, in their minds, socially accepted. Is it FAIR for the definition of marriage to be changed? What if I don't want to be a girl anymore… Can i change the definition of being a boy so that my personal views can fit it? Can the definition of "Boy" be changed to fit girls who want to be boys and be accepted???? Vice versa for boys who want to be boys.
Its not about fairness. Its about what is natural, moral, and right.
YES ON PROP 8. It isn't that we don't believe in equality & love. We just believe in right & wrong. If Prop 8 doesn't pass then we will lose religious freedom & parental rights. I don't want my kids being taught things that I have no say over. If Prop 8 doesn't pass, I feel I might have to homeschool my kids.
Re: tradition – HOW ABOUT THIS? Is it FAIR that stupid morons like you try to spread their hate to others? Who said that marriage is "owned" by straight people? And have you seen what the divorce rate is? It isn't like straight people are exactly perfect in the marriage department. YOU ARE AN IDIOT AND I FEEL SORRY FOR THE PERSON THAT MARRIES YOU—THEN AGAIN, HOW YOU SOUND, I DOUBT YOU WILL EVER GET MARRIED, HE WILL PROBABLY DIVORCE YOUR PREJUDICE ASS!!
Re: aubbra – Your kids might be gay—what are you gonna do then? Move with them to another planet……and don't say they aren't gay because you never know….I have friends who came out of the closet in their 30's…..WAKE UP PEOPLE….GAY MEN AND WOMEN ARE EVERYWERE AND WE ARE MORE 'NORMAL' THAN YOU!!!
She says those Yes on 8 ads are lies? Why don't you ask Massachusetts, who passed that gays can marry, and now they are suing thr Catholic Church for not giving adoptions to Gay Couples, so they shut the Catholic Church had to shut down their adoption agency, or they would be sued. so much for seperation of church and state. And yes, they teach gay marriage at the schools there also. so don't be fooled that they won't do it in California!! Churches will have to acceot them in there church or be sued for not being equal! That is not Fair! It already is happening in Massachusetts! YES on 8!!!!
It's pathetic that this is such a huge issue or an issue AT ALL. Let people do what they want you religious fucking fascists; god forbid someone even TALKS about a different religion to you, and you want to impose your beliefs on someone else?! Hypocrites.
Re: aubbra – Fuck you bitch and I really hope God bless you with a gay son and a lesbian daughter. God is the bigger joker and he first teach you by common knowledge. If you don't learn his lesson then will teach you with the advise of others. And if you still stubborn he will teach you with your own experience and that's why I wish he bless you so you fucking learn ACCEPTANCE. Cause ACCEPTANCE is a truly function of LOVE. And God above is LOVE. You fake christian mongers who love to use the name of God in vain for you hate agenda. Vote NO on prop 8.
Re: aubbra – Another thing narrowed minded frigid fucking asshole witch bitch. Start taking responsability for your definition of right and wrong. You can start stating "right for me" or "wrong for me" and right there realized that you have no right whatsoever in imposing your definitions on the life of other people. Keep your views to yourself and to the little creatures you might raising that you call son or daughter. They will exemplify how a fucking horrid parent you are by their future hate actions. Once again, fuck you.
Re: aubbra – right and wrong? everyone in this world has different ideas on right and wrong.. who are you to impose your views on them? giving the right for everyone to marry will not affect the way your children are educated in school. please do your research. if prop 8 doesn't pass… nothing is going to change in your pretty little world.. something so little and meaningless to you is the most important thing to others. have some compassion.
NO on 8
I am a strong Christian and don't believe that we should hold the standards of a Christian on someone who does not believe but do believe that everyone will give an account for their lives on judgment day and God will judge and give the punishment.
The Prop goes both ways. What scares me about gay marriage being legal is that churches are now liable to be sued if they do not marry same sex couples. If everyone wants equality for everyone, then why would someone get sued or a church get sued for their personal choice to not take part in something they see as wrong?
VOTE NO ON 8. ONLY BIGOT AND HATERS ARE VOTING YES ON 8. WHY WOULD ANY DECENT PERSON RIP APART THOUSANDS OF GAY MARRIAGES THAT TOOK PLACE. IT WILL BE WAR. VOTE NO ON 8 BECAUSE ITS FAIR AND DECENT AND MORAL. HOW CAN PEOPLE BE SUCH BIGOTS SHAME ON YOUR REPUBLICAN TRASH.
TRADITION KKK NAZI—— ACTUALLY MANY MARRIED PEOPLE ARE VOTING NO ON 8,BUT THEY WOULD BE THE DECENT MORAL PEOPLE,NOT THE UNEDUCATED .HATEFUL REPUBLICAN TRAILERTRASH AND UNEDUCATED MINORITES VOTING FOR HATE.. VOTE NO ON 8, VOTE NO ON 8, OR ELSE YOU WILL BE RIPPING APART THOUSANDS OF MARRIAGES AND YOU RIGHTWING TRASH WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT.
I feel very sorry for your children Aubbra. They have to grow up in a household with hate and no tolerance or understanding of people that are different then them. How sad. This why we have wars and people die because of people like you who bring up their children with no tolerance
I am STRAIGHT! Don't HATE! No on 8! By the way, the 'churches' are upset by it because they will LOSE their tax status as non-profits when they DISCRIMINATE. And straight marriage is NOT taught in schools, so why would gay marriage? If you think it's a moral thing, then chose your morals, and teach your kids what you choose, but DO NOT take away rights from some one else.
Sometimes the displays of ignorance are apalling.
While I'm not condeming an opinion, I do have a hard time respecting one that has been formed out of ignorance.
You see, the proponents of this are saying things from "they will teach kids about same sex marriage", to "churches could lose their tax exempt status".
First of all, anyone that knows anything about education knows that children cannot be taught about family life or health without the permission of a parent or guardian. Secondly, there is nothing in there that would make churches go against their beliefs. In fact, the court decision regarding marriage specifically says "no religion will be required to change its religious policies or practices with regard to same-sex couples, and no religious officiant will be required to solemnize a marriage in contravention of his or her religious beliefs."
..and no you wouldn't be sued for your personal beliefs. Do the research yourself, and then vote.
Oh and by the way. Those who like to say "for thousands of years the word marriage has been used to describe the union between a man and a woman". Look it up, same sex marriage is not a new concept. It has been around for millennia.
I'm voting no On Prop 8. I'm doing it because it's worked in Europe and I think Americans need to start being hypocrite's and only use Gods name when they feel they should. I'm doing on purpose to show straight people that if marriage was so sacred than divorce is not something you can just do when you want.
if anyone were to actually research the background & definition of "marriage", it is the religious or legal ceremony that formalizes the decision of a man & woman to live as husband and wife. marriage has dated back ages to being a religious joining of a man and woman under God, whether for property rights, to protect bloodlines, family status or for love. only recently have people begun to have "civil" ceremonies where they leave the religion out of marriage. in short, they want the end result (being married), but they leave out the reasoning (God, religion). why not just be satisfied being together? what's the point to wanting to be a part of the marriage club if you don't believe in the origin of the concept in the first place??
Re: kiiki –
Though you get close to making a point, you do fall short. I have no space to point out every single inaccuracy, but I will tell you this.
Bringing religion into this actually is not necessary. You do know about the separation of church and state, right?
If you still want to bring the God element into it, then I think you should know that there is a lengthy list of faith based organizations and churches that actually OPPOSE this proposition. While you research the meaning of marriage, you might want to do the same with proposition 8. That way you will see both sides and know exactly what you're voting for.
You know, if you really want to be objective you might want to take a cultural anthropology course. Marriage is covered, and I think you will be surprised.
If still, it is something that goes against your personal beliefs it's okay. The state will not make you marry anyone you don't want to marry. Even if the proposition is not passed.
Re: jazzmony – Re: jazzmony –
JazzMony- Ha ha ha… First of all, I am NOT Mormon, nor republican, nor right-wing, nor trailer trash, nor a minority… Funny how much HATRED spills out of YOUR mouth when you accuse ME of HATRED. There is nothing but love and an attempt to understand the false argument. Please, explain to me how and when I EVER said that marriage was "owned" or how the divorce rate is related to what we are talking about, or when divorce rates were mentioned…. You have still failed to rebuttal my argument but accomplished to make a fool out of yourself.
If you want to get personal and get to know me, then you would KNOW that I am not prejudice and have a brother who is gay and a best friend who is gay. THEY are rational, reasonable, and emotionally sound to understand my point of view. Your personal attacks are not appreciated and you should try to be a bit more diplomatic.
Re: knowitall –
I don't know why you are referring to me as KKK or Nazi since I am neither White nor German… its a bit confusing. Is this a HATEFUL attack from someone accusing me of HATRED? This is more confusing since I don't recall being hateful AT ALL. Also, when you say that "many married people are voting No on 8" when over 60% of Californians voted to keep Marriage the same the first time and this was recently overturned by a handful of judges from San Francisco. Also, I am not Republican, don't live in a trailer, not a minority, and I AM a college graduate with a Bachelors in Business… So which marriages would I be ripping apart? That argument doesn't hold since they will have all of the same rights, privileges, and benefits as married couples. The government will not force them to divorce, they will just maintain their "civil union" status. The word "marriage" is the only thing in question here. The people WILL vote this November and it will reflect the choice of the people in this DEMOCRACY. This should be a PEACEFUL discussion not a HATE-FILLED debate that you are trying to fuel. Please try to address my initial issue and provide a better reasoning than your first one. Thanks.
Re: Azureus9 – Your argument is a little confusing. Without bring religion or faith in this, just look at the initial vote that Californians made which opposed changing the definition of marriage. I believe it was over 60% opposed gay marriage. However, you have to look at the civil unions that are given to gay couples. They have ALL, I repeat ALL, the same rights, privileges, and benefits as married couples. The only thing at stake it the word "marriage." Again, without bring religion into the mix…. DEMOCRACY will prevail and the people will get to decide for themselves. Not any of the celebrities, politicians, or bloggers like us. Peace!
Re: tradition –
confusing? how so?
I wonder what fueled that 60% vote. Truth is that outside of a religious reason, I haven't heard much of anything else. Which is why I said that bringing that into an argument wouldn't help much. It would be sad to write something into the state's constitution that is fueled primarily by religious conviction. In a state that is part of a free country, it just doesn't make much sense. But you're absolutely right. Voters will decide, but hopefully it will be an informed decision rather than not.
(OMG did we just have a civilized exchange?! thank you!)
Re: erhg74 – I have no problems with straights or gays, but I want to know what the gays on here appear so venomous, so toxic, and so hateful and aggressive? Calling people names and being abusive just because they have a different point of view. What a great example you are! Everyone has the right to free speech without being abused. I and you disagree with those posts, yet showing yourself up as an out of control and hateful and spiteful person isn't helping any.
Re: kiiki – Sorry kiiki, but you are definitely wrong there. Marriage PRE-DATES Christianity and other religious institutions. Religion did not create marriage, it did take advantage of it though, when it adopted it to make money and to gain more church-goers. Churches saw big bucks in it, so endorsed marriage ceremonies. Religion is NOT and never was, a religious-born ceremony. Marriage goes back far far beyond the bible and was in existance looooooooonng before religion was ever even thought of, let alone heard of. A non-religious ceremony is more in keeping with the original concept of marriage.
Re: Cokie_ – Do you have any idea how altering and twisted is the type of decision that is being handed to these people-haters over gay committed couples?
.
How would you feel if you love and you want to marry that someone and your choice to be marry is submitted to the community in order to see if they "agree" on your decision?
.
How would you feel if anyone in that community has something to say like "I don't think they should be married cause they seem to have had premarital sex?
.
Well that parallel is the perfect drawing that pictures how I feel when people with this bogus ultra right Christians beliefs try to impose over the rest of the community what they believe is right or wrong.
.
I am not going to enroll anybody into acceptance. I believe God above is Love. Acceptance is a function of love. You don't love anyone until you stop trying to change that someone and start accepting people for who they are and for who they are not.
.
That's why God's love is perfection cause he gives us complete freewill and accept us exactly as we are.
.
So don't expect me to explain this in "pretty" terms to a hate monger that calls itself christian. These people are the worst America has to offer, horrid people. I personally call them the American taliban.
Re: Cokie_ –
I like you.
What you said in your last post (#71) is something many people probably don't know. Which is why I suggested the cultural anthropology course. Another thing that I don't think some understand is that though a measure like this was voted on eight years ago. People then decided to pass it (60%?). However, I suspect that the main reason was more than likely based on religious beliefs. Hey, I might be wrong. Though it seems that it's what moves people to oppose marriage equality.
TRADITION-AL BIGOT= Lets see in the first post you say you're not a minority then in the next one you're not white, which is it liar, and I'm sure your brother and "best friend" are gay too.lol. You're pathetic, really. I really dont care that much about your life but I do know that bigots like you(and you are) are about to rip apart thousands of marriages and upset millions of lives because you feel its your special right. If you took the same passion up to protect millions of gays and their families from bigotry that you have to spew your hate on Perez society might be better served. When scumbags like you try to make it seem that the courts are somehow these liberals from frisco I feel I must educated you,you are aware that these judges were conservative republicans who felt the 60 percent who voted like you were mis-treating gays. Now polls show it almost even,so half of California and The republican led Ca supreme court are all wrong, and only the uneducated bigoted trash like you are right. Go to hell lowlife.
Re: tradition – How about this? I don't care about who you are or what your life is like….You are posting your "hate", yes "hate", towards gay marraige and trying to spread your "yes on 8" bullshit to other voters. You don't want your brother to be able to get married and live a happy life with his husband if he had an opportunity to? WOW, WHAT A LOVING SISTER U ARE!! I just have two words for you and your views–FUCK YOU!!! PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT WANT TO STOP OTHER PEOPLE FROM BEING HAPPY MAKE ME SICK–I PRAY THAT YOU DON'T LIVE IN CALIFORNIA AND CAN'T VOTE ON IT!!
Being gay is your CHOICE..you werent "made" that way! God does NOT make mistakes and he would not "make" you to be something he clearly says is a sin! How dumb is that???He says it is a SIN to do!..so why do you tell yourselves he MADE you that way????! That is purely ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!…He does not WANT you to do that!! He gives you free will to live how you choose. You can be gay, take your own life, murder…whatever….he lets you chose how to be..he tells you how you should behave…if you dont listen..that's totally your choice. So dont give me this I was BORN this way CRAP! What a cop out to make yourselves feel better about your sinful ways of being gay. If he says not to lay with the same sex in his word…then quit trying to say he thinks its ok to do!! ITS NOT..but he'll let ya do it and you'll be asked about it on your judgement day. Maybe you can come up with a good reason you did it by then..Cuz he certainly didnt MAKE you do it. Own up to your own morality! tsk!
I just find it interesting that off all the sins people are still selective and homosexuality (an easy one to resist are you not born that way) continues to be politically relevant while others do not. What about immigration? After all “You shall not wrong or oppress a stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.”
And In verse 49, the prophet writes, “Behold this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.” Yet many that proclaim to be christian would rather do the work of God in judgement than be truly charitable, pay taxes to help the needy and fund public services. One would suppose they have a justification for themselves but not for others.
Re: barackbinladen – It's also very interesting that the only ones capable to say whether is a choice or were born that way are us.. the gays. And we all say we were born that way. How could you state that so strongly if you are not gay?
I think they should be aloud to get married. It's there own choice. Can you imagine if everyone in the world had arranged marriages.. that would suck. Let people marry who they want.
Re: erhg74 – I state its a choice, because I know Gods perfect and does not make mistakes…so why would he create someone gay,if He does not want us to be that? He gives us free will. If a person CHOOSES to be gay, so be it, but dont blame it on an all perfect God.He does not approve..he loves all..but doesnt approve of sin.
Re: barackbinladen – What a waste of human being you are little troll. So you are stating Homosexuality is a mistake LOL!!! Show your true colors so people realize that illiterate people like you is behind this fucking bill. So God animals also have willing and the "choose" to be gay cause homosexuality is also present in many animals. Gosh, that's why the bible is so dangerous in the wrong hands and you should pass an IQ test before attempt to interpreter what it is trying to say.
.
Honey, the concept of perfection is hard to grasp cause nobody knows what is perfect. Your concept of perfect is different from other concepts and the "bible" does not describe perfection only is state. Why? Cause God above wants you to know that you are perfect just the fucking way you are. And I hate to admit it, but you and your obnoxious atrocious views under the eyes of God are also perfect, just like mine. Everything is about acceptance and I should charge you to explain this stuff to you. In fact, I will stop cause you deserve being the little hate monster you are.
Re: knowitall – Actually I am not white which is true…. and I am not a minority because the population of my "ethinicity" is statistically and technically the MAJORITY in California. Bet you forgot about that didn't you. Anyways, yes my brother and my friend are gay like I originally said and I don't need to lie to get my point across. I guess my point has been made because all you can respond is with hateful rhetoric.
When did mis-treatment of gays become the equivalent of keeping marriage the way it has been? Plus giving gay couple all of the same rights and benefits of married couples? You must take yourself away from your emotion and look at this from a logical perspective to gain true insight. Peace.
Re: jazzmony – Well, I am sorry but you cared about my life so much that you had to detail it in a false way and I had to correct you. Also, I DO live in California and will vote YES on Prop 8 because I have still yet to have heard a mature, reasonable, rational, and logical explanation.
Re: barackbinladen – Wow! I have never seen so much stupidity piled into one paragraph. Face it: you're just another bible thumper who never bothered to think for yourself.
Re: tradition – I’ve always been curious as to what point it became no longer socially acceptable to make racist remarks, and speak out against inter-racial marriage, children, and adoptions. Some day gay marriage and gay adoptions will be the same way. Soon enough anti-gay bigots will fade away. Your children and grand-children, some of which will be gay, will be embarrassed of the anti-gay views you have. We are your friends, your family, your neighbors and your co-workers. Being a resident of Washington State I don’t get to vote no on Prop 8, but I am still watching it closely. It affects the entire country, as many states will follow suit. I am thrilled that some day, in the near future, I will be able to have a legal marriage to my loving partner. And yes, someday public schools will teach about gay marriage. They will teach about the day that California got it right, and the entire country moved forward toward totally equality. I hope you live to see that day.
Re: tradition –
It's really a simple issue. If the concept of marriage excludes anyone, then there isn't equality under the law and marriage shouldn't even be recognized anymore. So you can protect marriage by keeping it in the church and out of the law. But I'm sure people don't want to make that compromise either. You can't have it both ways.
Re: tradition –
I just don't understand why there has to be a definition set in stone of what "marriage" is. Everything changes over years, from words to cars to people to the whole world. Lots of things are in fact "traditional" for someone but just because it's traditional doesn't mean it's the perfect, right thing to follow. Social issues like this have patterned through out all of America's history of people's rights. Blacks' rights to get married and be there own person. Womens' rights to vote and choose what to do with their bodies. Sure, there are negatives to each side of the opinion but when it comes down to it: How would ANYONE feel if they couldn't marry someone they loved?
I am for equal rights for everyone.
Even though I'm not able to vote I really hope everyone votes against prop 8.
Re: corrence – I am not ANTI GAY I have gay friends, relatives, clients, and I never have been against them being together. In fact, civil unions were created to accommodate this. Civil Unions have all of the entire same benefits, privileges, and rights and a traditional marriage.
I do not understand the logical purpose of changing the DEFINITION of marriage. Why does it need to change? At what point are we going to stop changing the definition? What will stop those who want to marry multiple partners? What will stop those who want to marry their first cousin? What will prevent those who want to marry someone underage?
The big question is what is wrong with civil unions?
Re: JordanCameron – Then why is their a definition set in stone for you being a girl? Are we going to generalize everything and make everyone choose what status they want to be? If I am a hispanic girl in southern california. Under the "No on Prop 8" arguement, it is my right to choose to be an asian boy in florida. Who has the right to tell me what the definition is?
The logic in the "no on prop 8" is flawed. Thus, I do not agree with it. I am not anti-gay or against homosexuals. I have friends, relatives, and clients that are gay. They all know my view and are fine with it. My gay brother knows that I will not stop him having a long lasting civil union with his partner. But when it comes to changing definitions. What will prevent more definition of our society from changing? Why cant a man marry multiple wives? Why cant a 28 years old marry a 15 year old? If those become socially accepted in the future, will we change it again?
Re: JordanCameron – I understand that things change over the years. However, we cannot not equate MARRIAGE to the transition in social verbal communication; like "personal computer" to "PC" or "automobile" to "car" and so on. Not even homosexual tolerant Greco-Roman society would change the normative definition of marriage between a man and woman. If its not our "right" to claim marriage is between man and a woman… then what gives the gay community the "right" to change it? Again, I am not anti-gay… I am all for them being with who they love and choose. Would changing the definition of marriage really make or break their relationship?
That dude is fugs.
"I like to lick P & I lke my P licked!"
I can never take her seriously
Re: Melissa is always right – But he is a pretty good dancer.
She ALWAYS speaks from the Heart…Thank God for Ellen!
Now, can us Guys have a role model like her???!!!
Re: ArmPitt&trade!!!SEMICOLON!!! – lol i love your avatar
first?
Love Elen! and hell No on Prop 8. If you vote Yes you are going straight to HELL
Why is this even an issue? Shouldn't it be a birth right to marry who you want?
Gah. Sometimes this world is so confusing.

Love her, she's so nice
Thank you Perez for getting these commercials to a wider audience!!! It's much appreciated
Re: njpaul0129 –
Why are you talking about tax cut on a blog about Prop 8?? Your off it for sure…this is why people don't take conservatives seriously….always against equality for all and talking about issues that have NOTHING to do with the topic at hand….
and GO Obama and Ellen!!
NO on Prop 8!!!
Do not be fooled. Ellen is a really big b****, my friend works at the house next door and Ellen yelled at her children to be quite at 2pm in the afternoon when they were taking soccer lessons!!!

good for her. i love her so much. SAY NO TO prop 8
Re: RBDEE – So that one incident means gays shouldn't have the right to marry the one they love?????
Re: Swimstud – It's not MY armpit, silly!!
If I were in CA, I'd vote no. But, I live in Indiana. Here, seeing an Obama yard sign is "abnormal".
– I don't understand how you can support animal rights (prop 2) but not human rights (prop
Hypocrites.
VOTE NO.
GO ELLEN =)
Re: BRAD – Cause you can't be a non-profit and discriminate. If the church feels that their morals are for a higher cause, PAY TAXES to prove it.
I LOVE ELLEN
Please, Please vote "YES" on Prop. 8
Civil Union is best. Marriage is between a man and a woman.
I'm voting no On Prop 8. I'm doing it because it's worked in Europe and I think Americans need to start being hypocrite's and only use Gods name when they feel they should. I'm doing on purpose to show straight people that if marriage was so sacred than divorce is not something you can just do when you want.
Our happiness is guanteed in this country, so if gay people want to get married, it's none of our fucking business.
Re: aubbra – your a complete ignorant moron! you just wasted 2 minutes of my life reading your comment!
Well, thank God she's not speaking from her cooch.
if anyone were to actually research the background & definition of "marriage", it is the religious or legal ceremony that formalizes the decision of a man & woman to live as husband and wife. marriage has dated back ages to being a religious joining of a man and woman under God, whether for property rights, to protect bloodlines, family status or for love. only recently have people begun to have "civil" ceremonies where they leave the religion out of marriage. in short, they want the end result (being married), but they leave out the reasoning (God, religion). why not just be satisfied being together? what's the point to wanting to be a part of the marriage club if you don't believe in the origin of the concept in the first place??
DAMN THOSE CONSERVATIVE ASSHOLES THEY HAVE NO COMPASSION!
Go Ellen Go!!!!
Re: Azureus9 –
.. my bad!
(uhm no .. it was 69 Cokie..)
Re: erhg74 –
71 was your post..
..looks like I messed up on the comment thing.
Cokie, Erhg74 .. I need to step away from the computer and get back to work.
Re: njpaul0129 –
isn't it tax increase for people who earn more than 200K a year?!
♥ I love this woman.
Live and let live, jeez people!!
Re: barackbinladen – Did you choose to be straight?
Ellen rocks!
love u ellen! : )
ellen rocks!
love u ellen!!!
Re: itsme –
damn! i thought it hadnt posted, now i have 3 messages!!! but now i get to say how great ellen is more times!
ELLEN I LOVE U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:D:D:D:D:D
I think they should be aloud to get married. It's there own choice. Can you imagine if everyone in the world had arranged marriages.. that would suck. Let people marry who they want.
Re: erhg74 – You CHOOSE to do what God says is right.End of story.
Peace.
Re: Azureus9 – YES! Finally a civilized person on this blog! Thank you!
Re: jazzmony – Well, I am sorry but you cared about my life so much that you had to detail it in a false way and I had to correct you. Also, I DO live in California and will vote YES on Prop 8 because I have still yet to have heard a mature, reasonable, rational, and logical explanation.
Thanks.
*Imagine Peace*
Re: barackbinladen – nice… glad to see youre a racist asshole.
being LGBTQ is NOT a choice, it IS natural. so, screw off.
Woo Ellen!
