Iron Man 2: Cheadle In, Howard OUT

The character of Jim Rhodes will not be reprised by Terrence Howard in Iron Man 2.
Terrence has been bumped for Don Cheadle because T and the Iron Man suits supposedly fell out over 'financial differences'.

Unfortunately, Gwyneth Paltrow will be back as Pepper Potts.
Wonder what her schtick will be during the Iron Man 2 promo tour.
She can't do the super short skirts + mega high heels thing again, right?

that sucks!! i hate it when they do cast changes for whatever reason! and p, i actually liked paltrow in that movie. she was likeable in that flick in my opinion so stop hating.

Well, if Rhodes was going to become War Machine in the 2nd one then I could see why he would ask for more money. Obviously, if he is playing a bigger role then more money makes sense. It all depends on how much more money he was asking for. If it was way more then I say he is dumb for jeopardizing his role in a comic book franchise!!
Good. He got EXACTLY what his ass deserved. Terrence thought he was the leading man, evidently. Well, so much for his "diva" act - bet he'll think twice before he tries to pull that stunt again.

let me get this straight,,,cheadle costs LESS to hire than howard? i cant believe that…i dont think cheadle is right for this role either - howard was better but not a good fit still…rhodes is starkes bodyguard/right hand…the character is alot tougher than i think cheadle can portray…

these are two exceptional actors, some of the best in hollyweird, BUT they're black– that's why Fat Perez says Terrence isn't a superstar. The man has oscar nods and stars w/the best in the industry.
In reality the studio probably offered them n*gger wages, compared to the anglos, and Terrence said Fuck That.
