Their new album has been pushed back until December 16th, but you can listen to a new song from Folie a Deux.
Fall Out Boy's What A Catch, Donnie is a beautiful, anthemic ballad about life and finding acceptance. It reminds us of an Elton John song.
We're not sure if it's going to be a single, but it SHOULD!
The tune features the band's Decaydance labelmates, Brendon Urie from Panic at the Disco, Gabe Saporta from Cobra Starship, Wiliam Beckett from The Academy Is, and Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heros singing snippets of a few classic Fall Out Boy songs towards the end.
Plus, Elvis Costello is also featured on the song too!

I'm told, from a source at their label, that the reason they are delaying this release from election day is because the album is getting bad pre-buzz and they realize without any serious interest in the record that first day album sales will be abysmal considering people will be more interested in voting. Any claim that they are moving the date out of respect to the election is false.

don't know their music period, other than some unmemorable snippet on some stupid celeb "news" show. however when i saw Elvis Costello collaborated on the song i was all into hearing it. and it sounds pretty good. just wish lead singer didn't warble so much. he sounds reminiscent of Costello, however there is no who can rival Elvis and his unique voice. like i said, better than what i expected but that is down to the huge support they were given from other musicians and of course ELVIS

I have been a fall out boy fan since fall out boys evening out with your girlfriend. I still love this music because I have an open mind when it comes to music. I wish somebody would get on here and tell me that I don't know good music because I like this song. Seriously, I listen to every band under the sun. If you started listening to the song just so you could make fun of it because its by fall out boy…well thats fine. But fighting with people over a website…is absolutely rediculous. Every time I read comments from people on here it tends to piss me off. If Perez wants to promote a band such as Fall Out Boy…good for him. It's his site…his right. Why not? Just because you don't necessarily like the music, band or song doesn't mean anything. We're all entitled to our opinion…but it makes no sense to come on a website & bash the writer…if you don't like it…don't read it. And if you don't like the band…don't listen to the music. And as far as Perez pimping out FOB or having his head up their ass…whatever. I am a big fall out boy fan & I think they're lucky to have a website like this support them…a lot of exposure on here…1000's of people come to this site regularly…it doesn't make them sell outs…and it most certainly doesn't make someone like Madonna a sell out as someone commented on here. Madonnas been around for 25 years…thats not luck. Thats talent, hard work, and a good business sense…FOB has that too.
